You see....

The THING about the KINKS, guys, is that the quality and staying-power of their music NEVER DIES....

a.  Sure, it is true that I might drink a few gallons of Spanish Extra-Virgin, just to make a name for myself on ThaiVisa...

b.  But, what would that be, compared to the amazing gift of the KINKS to the world at large?

I love Spanish olive oil.

I love the KINKS, even more.

Anytime I need a boost in spirit, I can ALWAYS depend upon the KINKS to buoy me up.

While, drinking a gallon of olive oil always just gives me the runs.

Spanish olive oil is my favorite.

The KINKS are my favorite band, no contest.

Thank gods I am still alive to hear them....

Because...

Someday, maybe in the not too-distant future...
I might not be able to hear them again...

Depending upon where I am heading.

And we ALL know where I will be heading, soon.

I HATE the sound of harps, anyway.

Why not tarry a while and use the time to exhibit some humility? You don’t always need to be ‘the smartest person in the room’ and if you really were, wouldn’t it be better to use it to help people, rather than to insist that you are a genius 😊?

Use your mind to heal yourself… instead of using it for useless ‘knowledge’.

I am tired of the same old Thai-food fare, if truth be told.

Why in God's name would you even eat that muck in the first place? What's wrong with good old steak and potatoes and cookies and milk?

Eating bugs and grubs and rice and noodles won't put hairs on your chest.

Hey, Man!

I'm game for some Kobe Beef anytime you say the word!

Send me a PM invitation to meet you in TOKYO for some Kobe Beef!

It melts in your mouth, but not in your hands!

Beef is GOOD...but...

I cannot afford the real beef in Thailand, even if the real beef were to be found.

Also, I have plenty of hairs on my chest, ears, and down below.

Too many hairs for my liking.

By the way....

Did you ever wonder why Michael Caine was so hairless, even though he is the epitome of MANLINESS?

I could never figure this one out, try as I might.

One of my favorite actors, even though he hasn't even one hair on his chest...

Michael Caine is one of the more amusing actors who refuses to take himself too seriously.

Wish there were more like him in this world...

These days....

Speaking of the beef farm....(牛肉場 = beef farm)

When I was much younger, living on the Isle of Formosa....

We often invited our customers to partake of the delights at the local beef farm (牛肉場)...

I can guarantee you that a visit there, to the beef farm, might put a few more hairs on your chest.

Thank Goodness!, those days are now behind me....

KOBE beef, though, is still something that I can appreciate....

(Please don't misconstrue:  The beef farm is only for those looking for HEIFERS!)

Well at least you're man enough to admit you can't afford the good stuff, unlike Baby Bird who says that cheap street food tastes better than Kobe beef because it all comes out the same way anyway.

I can't afford the good stuff either, that is to say I'm not prepared to eat Mama noodles for a month (two?) to make up for the prohibitive cost of a few bits of meat and a decent bottle of wine. I live in Bangkok so there is no end of Japanese joints flogging the primo stuff for a king's ransom.

The closest I get is the "Australian Wagyu" cheeseburger at Roadhouse BBQ in Bangkok. That's the best I can offer you if you're in town and it's probably a crossbreed. They do a nice lunch special, I like the seafood chowder for starters then the cheeseburger. Not cheap but not super expensive and definitely a better culinary experience than 50 baht slop on a plate (not that there's anything wrong with that).

There was a time I found GG posts challenging and inspiring. But now he needs help. Urgently. Someone tearing him away from his computer. Urgently!

I once could afford the very good meal, in Tokyo, complete with the geisha servers...which cost A TON!

Now, I am just satisfied to have the memories of those glorious days.

(And, when I say geisha servers:  I mean...STRICTLY serving food and wine....  These women were experts in providing amazing service at the table.  NOTHING to do with sex or pillow talk!  But, the dining experience in a private room cost a pretty penny, FOR SURE!)

Those days are now gone, as I say.

I am grateful that I lived in the 1980s, and 90s, in Asia, when people still cared about such things....

Truly...I am grateful for those experiences, now that I continue to age in this disgusting new age...(haha)!

It's better to have loved and lost...😉

Please let me know which posts of mine that you found both challenging and inspiring.

If only you had told me before!

I might have written more!!!

Also, I just wrote a challenging topic concerning EPISTEMOLOGY....

Surely, this Topic is challenging enough!

Don't you think?

For example:  HOW do we know that what we think we know might be true?  Is this a challenging enough question for you???

Concerning Inspiration:  Yes. If you want, I can talk again about Cognitive Complexity and Syntactic Complexity, if you find these topics inspirational.  I would be HAPPY to do so, in fact!

NEVER a truer word....!

But, basically, it's mostly a matter of the aging process, I believe.

As we age, we entertain different interests....

And, even though we might no longer be interested in fine and expensive dining in Tokyo...yet...

We are very glad that we once had the experience....

Wait and see...

You may, someday, feel the same.

Old age comes to us all, if we only wait long enough,...

And live long enough.

Chest hairs do not make a man manly. How he treats others does. Chest hairs in fact hide a body that isn't trained, muscular, and women fall for it because of ignorance. Caine is a good actor, and just that, an actor. His body was never anything to speak of, as is many in Hollywood. They get there for the face, which again, isn\t much different than many others in the world. People look up to and admire people just because they are on TV, not that they look any better than many worldwide.

Real beef can be found.

I rate the Argentina Ribeye from Meat Market.

Found, or not found....

I won't pay so much for meat, of any kind.

Even the meat you might find in the Beef Market, as I mentioned above, which we used to enjoy in Formosa....

(I will just survive on chicken.  Every chicken I eat, at least for me, means one less rooster in this world.)

Hey Gamma. Give it a go, why not. But not a spoonful an hour. Maybe every 3 hours for no longer than 2 days.

And let me know how it goes.

I had you on my ignore list because, quite frankly, you annoy the hell out of me, but I took you off because there is usually an undertone of honesty and integrity in your posts, if you can get past the dribble.

I have my own special brew of, in equal measure...

Olive oil, because apparently it's healthy.

Hemp seed oil, because apparently it's a pain killer.

Apricot kernel oil, because apparently it stops cancer.

And coconut oil, because apparently MCL (whatever the is) is a source of protein.

And apparently, some vitamins (vitamin K?) are oil soluble.

I have a spoonful in the morning, and another at night.

I don't think it's done me any harm. But I wouldn't live on the stuff.

NICHOLAS CAGE was a MUCH better actor than I originally gave him credit for being...until....

I watched this movie...

And also one other.

Unfortunately, he wasted his talent, at times....on stupid films of no import...

Chugging only olive oil might make you stick close to the toilet. Very close.

However. As part of what is known as a  mediterranean diet, it is said to lower cholesterol, and help prevent diabetes.

On a lighter note. How often will you go in for an oil change?

Did you ever solve your problem with ANKI?

As I recall, your problem with ANKI centered around a Thai vowel.

Things of import, such as this, I find difficult to forget.

Perhaps you should make one more donation to ANKI, for old times' sake...?

Human body requires three essential macro-nutrients to survive: carbohydrates, protein, and fat. Totally eliminate any of these and you will not last long. Oil has virtually no carbs or protein. So not a good idea for sole nutrition.
