There are these big buildings called department stores...

Where are you?

Here in Khon Kaen right before Macro, there is a huge Wholesale mall with hundreds if not a thousand shops. I Was there last week for something else, and I saw more than a few shops that sold them at very reasonable prices, and you could see what you are getting.

Unfortunately they did not have any spiderman underwear, :w00t:

If you are not from around here, I am sure there is a similar place in your area.

Whatever you do, don't go out and look for them, who knows, you may even find some! :whistling:

Website say £28 for the 5 pack of boxers

I know they sell at a premium in Thailand but they last for ages so I consider them worth it.

Thanks I was going to look and hadn't realised they had gone up that much. I am sure last lot I bought in the UK 2 years ago was no more than £15........

I may have to reconsider.

If in a pinch in Bangkok, go to Platinum shopping mall's 4. floor. You get 11 for a 1000Tbh, "American" sizes.

It's not super quality, but it get you going until you find your way around the gigantic shopping malls along Sukhumvit road.

It's not fun walking around Bangkok with dubious underwear because your colleagues(who already has a female tour guide waiting over there) told you to not pack anything because you can get everything for cheap when you arrive in Thailand.

This is mostly an advice to newcomers in Thailand.

Should be, "Where do you buy underwear that will fit a Westerner from in Thailand?"

Sorry the OP gets so much snark about this.  It is an issue.  Yeah, you can find then in upscale malls for multiples of the price you'd buy them for in the West.  I recently tried to find a T-shirt in Big C and Tesco Chiang Mai.  Nothing fit me.  Everything was too tight in the upper chest and lats, and I don't ever lift weights anymore.  Everything is "Thai Size." And "Thai Size" means narrow, small, and tight.  And I've bought T-shirts at both places before.  Gotta be XXL but they just don't carry any XXL stock except for an odd-ball T-shirt here and there.  Underwear is impossible.

My saving grace is a friend who comes to Chiang Mai for the US yearly.  I buy underwear via online retail, ship it to his house, and get it delivered when her arrives. But I agree with the OP.  It's difficult to find affordable, Western-sized underwear here in Thailand.

Especially the ones that don't make me feel like a Tarzan or a Johnny the Wad wannabe.

Uniqlo in Bangkok. Not pricey & good quality. Probably don't sell XXXL though.

Various shops and stalls that sell Pierre Cardin boxers, good quality and sensibly priced.

While we at it where can I buy a toothbrush and paste?:stoner:

Are you fat? If your waist is not over 40 then some chinese shops on lazada  carry good quality undies (4xl) for 25 baht

I'd pay cash money to anyone who can tell me where to buy a stiff bristle toothbrush in Bangkok.  I get tired of my teeth feeling scuzzy with those soft bristle brushes.

Cash, or a beer...

Go commando

Let the dangly bits dangle and save money at the same time.

Big C.

I usually buy underwear when I am in Australia, the stuff here is too small even when it fits. Like wearing a G-string.

Give them to the LHG to clean:biggrin::biggrin:

99% of the time my morning routine does not change, wake up, coffee, give birth, shower and shave = No skid marks.
