Pattaya—At 2:30 AM, on November 11th, 2023, Pattaya City police officers received a quarrel report on the Pattaya Beach, Bang Lamung, Chonburi.

The Pattaya police officers were dispatched to the incident scene and only found a group of victims who were harmed with two minor injuries.

An anonymous friend of the victims reportedly told the police officers that his group, about 10 people, was hanging out on the Pattaya beach, however, another group of youth, which had a conflict with the victims in the past, coincidently encountered each other.

 

After a short while, the rival group went back and initiated a fight with his friend, reportedly said the victim’s side.

2:30 AM.  'Nuff said.  Just confirms that the wee hours are for normal people (and families on holiday) to sleep.

 

In a couple of months, these kerfuffles will be starting after 4:00 AM.

I guess the police were in the wrong place. Weren't they supposed to be patrolling the beach to stop these little disagreements between fellow Thais. But that was two weeks or so ago, so long forgotten I guess.

The police station was empty as all the officers were enjoying a jolly down Walking Street.  See story above.
