Perverted abbot accused of sexually assaulting novices and teenage boys

Mae Wang Police Station officers forced a perverted Thai abbot to leave his monkhood as they cranked up an investigation after novices and teenage boys accused him of sexually assaulting them. The alleged sexual assaults took place at a well-known temple, which was not named in the report, in the northern province of Chiang Mai.

 

In the past, the 41 year old abbot had been reportedly praised for his kindness and work for various charitable projects. He invited boys in the area, particularly those from the Tai Yai ethnic group, to become novices and study at the temple free of charge.

 

However, behind the saintly image of the abbot allegedly lurked a darker side. Many novices and boys in the community sought help from their guardians and the police, saying they were sexually assaulted by the abbot.

 

A 15 year old novice revealed that he was raped by the abbot and took advantage of his absence to escape from the temple. His parents, however, did not believe his story and sent him back to the temple.

 

Another novice said he had been sexually assaulted for almost three years. The abbot would sometimes call him and other novices to his accommodation and sometimes come to their dormitory. The abbot would force them to perform oral sex or have sex with him.

He has the right skill set, just needs to change from saffron  to  black .

Personally, I think these "parents" deserve a much harsher penalty than the "abbot".

These poor boys will be scarred for life. They need to defrock this scumbag and throw him in jail where , hopefully, he will get what he’s been giving. And shame on any parent for not trusting their child and sending them back to the same place.

The "abbot" needs to be imprisoned and the parents need compulsory parental training!
