Featured Replies

Hi,

A couple of days ago I ran CCleaner ....  and at some time recently I ran the Windows 10 Storage sense ....

anyway,  I noticed today all my downloads are gone.   I have used them both before without them deleting my downloads.

what a mess ......    ahhhrrrr

Uncheck the box so that downloads aren't cleared.

Before that, download "recuva" by Piriform and get your files back.

Before running the CCleaner 'clean' function, carefully select the options you need.

Check out both tabs - Windows & Applications.

Yes, it has happened to me too.

For some reason or other, the customized selections are lost.

I have used CCleaner for years but recently it has become problematic after being purchased from AVG, now I use Glary Utilities which is much superior and more reliable.

Believe me, it can be worser, this week I was thinking to erase a DVD+RW, but I erased a whole HDD, accidentally.

Its just user error. I'd stick with CCleaner, Glary even more troublesome.
