Jomtien noise pollution

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

Can somebody explain to me why they have to blast every nite and for the full nite a barrage of fire crackers in the Jomtien beach

This is illegal but they do it at 100 mt from a police booth near the Dwaree hotel

These are not free for sure and who is paying for it? The hotel ? What is the reason for it apart from creating some insomnia to the costumers

Really i am out of clue why all this pollution is allowed here

Why ask why, just move to a quieter area.

Guess you've never seen or heard of fireworks used to celebrate New Year? :shock1:

They'll be at it for several days.

Nes Years celebrate starts immediately after Christmas celebration and ends sometime before mid of January... welcome to Thailand

Fireworks is almost free here so that can go on for quite a while.

Fireworks in Pattaya from hotels used to be signalling full occupancy for the night,

Seem to be firecrackers everywhere at the moment. I rather enjoy them, it livens the place up a bit.

As one of the most popular party cities in the world Pattaya is noisy everywhere from my experience.

Maybe move to the dark side or Bangsaray.

I don't care to watch fireworks here but always watch Sydney's awesome show!

"...to the costumers".

Maybe those making or supplying costumes should take a break at night then they wouldn't be bothered!   Are there a lot of them around Jomtien?
