Two things here, One, its always been a mystery to me why people actually care or are bothered by "stickers". Two, this has been a source of complaint many many times by users of the forum and even led at one point to the removal of the emojis. That action caused uproar in another direction and the consensus was for them to return.

They will always be a subject of divided opinion.

And I suspect that at least two of the mentioned names are at least one and the same either human or bots! (along probably with a few others!)

Surely the 'confused' emoji is entirely appropriate for confusing posts!

I got a "confused" emoji for saying I like Paul McCartney.

Which part of "I like Paul McCartney" didn't he understand?

It depends what that person is saying or doing, not their mere presence.

Be funny, informative, or gone.

got it in one. almost.

You're a very good informative poster, but not a million laughs. I am grateful for your presence.

The classic example of this is MikeLister. He probably has never cracked a smile in real life, but if I see his name, he's a must-click.

As I mentioned on other threads, it’s just a bunch of digital bits and bytes, really nothing to get worked up about.

I smiled once, back in 1968 I think it was, it hurt so I didn't do it again.  :))

1) look at your content

2) surely caring enough either way would be grounds for getting a life?

The reason it annoys me is because I put time & effort into writing a post with (what I think is) useful information only for some clown to react with a confused emoji which comes across (to me) as questioning the information I've provided but without saying which part of the post they're confused about - If they're genuinely confused, ask a question & we'll all hopefully learn something from it.

I don't know about anybody else but since the clowns started using anonymous emojis this way, I'm visiting/posting on AN less than 1/2 of what I used to & when somebody asks a question that I know the answer to, I sometimes find myself 1/2 way through replying & think why bother, some clown will just react  with a confused emoji so I'll save me & the clown the bother,  shame for the person who needs an answer to their question but they can blame that on the clowns.

Mike, I wouldn't take it personally, I get this all the time even the "professional" trolls from the "opposition" boards trying to stop me from posting, many of I presume are several persons with umpteen different posting names

All your posts are informative and helpful Mike don't let the 2 or 3 "professionals" ( from the opposition boards)  stop that.

You can't always have everyone that will appreciate your posts but what counts is the "silent majority" who are not heard 👍

Maybe he should take it personally... he posts his opinion and when someone disagrees he's upset... 5555

It seems  that the  'confused' emoji for some reason is abundantly given in this forum, telling that the maybe

the giver's faculties are not a 100% there as there're many other emojis that can convey negative response

in a more precise reaction to a post, such as ' I don't agree' emoji, or ' bullock' or 'not nice'

'your post in unclear' etc, etc, Maybe the people that run this forum will consider my suggestions...
