Oops. Little decimal shift? If they really mean bitcoin (BTC) 900000 would be about 1.3 Trillion THB 😁.

30 million THB is about 20 BTC.

Back in the 70's and early 80's, the Russian time gangs ruled in Thailand...overpowering the cops, they pretty much had carte blanc to do as they pleased. Is it looking similar today?

BS: lived in Pattaya and phuket in the 80's

never heard of any Russians around<  Germans ran many go go and scams in Pattaya and phuket was wide open with only the thai nakorn sri thammarat gangs running things

Putting aside the kidnapping, you have to say that a 23 year old Belarusian having $30 M THB ( approx $840K USD) in Crypto, in the first place, is impressive.

That's the high net worth quality tourist Thailand is looking for. Now if the authorities can just keep them from getting abducted, all will be well!
