Share your blood pressure information

What's your blood pressure?

Do you take blood pressure medication?

Has anyone gone off blood pressure medication?

Do you take Amlodipine?

Do you have fantastic blood pressure,which I thought was 125 but apparently it's 110

I take Amlodipine, and I record my BP Daily.

I have PAH, pulmonary arterial hypertension and take one sildenifil 20mg every 6 hours.

Interesting medicine and interesting side effects.....

 

Also take 2 different type of water tablets, again both very effective at getting rid of excess water in the body.  I get lung fluid buildup.

Used to take Amlodipine, can make your ankles swell.....

555 not about winning as such but someone did ask. Mine was measured in Outpatient surgery. I thought it was a bit high so i went upstairs to cardiology and after measurement, they offered me a wheelchair. 555

No meds.

My father after his third stroke.

A guy from district town after his failed suicide attempt.

I doubt you can survive long on such a condition.

I think that's ok although the doctor I saw today said 110 is better apparently

Take a skeptical look at these numbers from US health organizations. "120 need medication".

Leading doctors who determine such rules are sitting on the board of directors at major pharmaceutical giants.

100 plus your age is ok for the higher number from what I am told. That is the the most important number as well.

I was taking 10mg Amlodipine BP 110 / 60.

Too much edema in ankles reduced to 5mg before breakfast daily. No more edema,

BP @14:45 134/66, I believe the new norm for 80yo is 140/60-70

I also take mine daily, half an hour after waking up, having a pee, and taking deep breaths. 

I take Amlodepine 10mg daily. Average over 6 months is 127/75 with heart rate of 48 and weight 71kg.

Also take doxadozin and finasterid for BHP. Drink moderately and do little exercise. I am 76.

I don't know. 180 something was the highest I ever measured. Then I accepted the idea of the doctor to take some medication.

Who told you that BS. It would mean that mine would be OK at 176, when it is average 127. 

The lower number is more important so I was told by my cardiologist, below 80 is OK.

I was also told that heartrate BELOW 55 is dangerous. Mine is average 47.

You can feel great with blood pressure at 150 ,I had no symptoms before I went to the doctor ....I felt fine at 150 ,only went for a sore knee ,came out with blood pressure tablets !!
