Overdosing on Viagra / Cialis ?

Featured Replies

This may well have been discussed here before. Then I missed it. Sorry.

One can overdose on a lot of things with life threatening results.

- Have so far not come accross a situation concerning "overdosing" on Viagra or Cialys.

What would be the worst scenario by "overdosing" those medications?

Have you considered talking to a professional about this. They are called doctors, and you can find many of them in hospitals.

  • Worse scenario would probably be if you did die they wouldn't be able to get the coffin lid down for a week .

  • Just don't get them in your eyes or you'll be giving everyone a long hard stare.

just researched it a bit.

maybe the most common side effects are very low blood pressure, headaches, dizziness.

here is an example of a fatal overdose, but he had diabetes and was an alcoholic. and what is considered an unsafe dose? you need to do research.

not sure if alcohoc mixes well with viagra.

Overdosing is common,  in the vain hope to get more satisfactory sex the more viagra or cialis one takes.

If you are healthy, it may lead to

- blurred vision

- low blood pressure and rapid heart beat, leading to dizziness,  and maybe fainting

- priapism: a very unpleasant erection lasting many hours, having the effect of a tourniquet on your penis.  This is a medical emergency.

Unfortunately,  most people who take viagra or cialis are not

healthy: elderly men with less than perfect blood vessels. Their damaged blood vessels are the reason for their erectile dysfunction, but it may also be the reason for coronary artery disease and high blood pressure - for which they may receive medication or not.

These people may die from an overdose of ED drugx.

Some years back a mate died of a heart-attack, which surprised us as he was the youngest of our small clique.

The autopsy showed he'd had multiple small attacks previously (scarring on the heart) and his demise was likely accelerated by the use of the blue pills (he probably didn't actually O/D).

The ironic part is that when we were both working on a project in Seoul (mid 90's) one of our drinking buddies was the marketing manager of Pfizer, Korea who told us they were testing out a new heart drug that had an "interesting" side effect :whistling:

Caution is advised if using this stuff.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

As noted above, death is a possibility, as is the more painful and possibly permanently penile damaging "- priapism: a very unpleasant erection lasting many hours, having the effect of a tourniquet on your penis.  This is a medical emergency."

Having suffered "dysfunction" for several years, I went to a pharmacy and purchased the blue pill, then did some online research at some medical sites, and then put the pill in the rubbish bin - not worth the risk at my age.

But if you really really must, seek medical advice from a good doctor, and if she/he advises proceed then start with a small dosage, maybe a quarter of a pill.

Up to you.

You are 100% correct.

That said, sometimes it's useful to post a question like this on a public forum, just to get a first hand experience information. Not only about medical issues, but on ANY subject.

Making a joke out of this type of question will definitely discourage others of posting similar questions.

Your post would have been appreciated on a joke thread, but here, I feel its of bad taste.

Just my honest opinion... maybe I am wrong, and am open to correction.

Also, the serious & honest comments for this type of questions are very helpful to other members too. That, I feel is value addition to this type of forum.

A man recently walked into a pharmacy in Pattaya having suffered from a massive chubby that still won't go away after a week after he ingested a cocktail of Viagra and Cialis. He showed it to the female pharmacist and asked "what can you give me for this?" She replied "I can give you the 1,500 Baht I have in the till and pay you more next week".

Read the instructions first !    Kamagra recommended dose is 50mg, and not to be used if you have a heart dieses. 25mg is more than enough for me if I use it.

Having to stand on your Head to take a pee. :giggle:

What dosage are we talking about?  I'd heard that 50 mg is adequate for most people, 100 mg max.  If the OP is taking more than that, I'd have to ask why?  I suppose if someone is taking 100 mg+ every day for a period of months....that might be a bit much.

Viagra or Cialys

Your obviously taking these to help you get up, so to speak, which tells me that your blood circulation isn't at it's best, which could lead to the Number 1: killer, heart disease which breeds heart attacks.

The above M&M's as I refer to them as, do the job of speeding up your blood flow, which in turn, helps you to get up, so to speak, now imagine if you have a few narrow arteries from say; not eating right, not exercising, etc, etc, and as the flow if flowing at a faster pace, then the blood clots in one of your arteries, well that could and more than likely, lead to a heart attack, which you may or may not survive, depending on how much of a blockage formed in your narrow arteries.

I used to use those M&M's as I refer to them to help get me up, so to speak, they were the best thing ever for me at the time since my manhood would let me down most of the times, other times he would become a semi-conductor, that said, no one wants failure in that department when taking a nice piece of cake to task.

All I will say is, don't make the same mistake I did when on those M&M's, i.e. perform more than 3 times in a day, otherwise you may not live to regret it, heart attack ensured, fortunately I survived it after a stent was inserted some almost 2 decades ago, now I hear or read guys talking about those blue pills and say, there is nothing better than a stent to get the blood flowing, my Cardiologist laughs when I tell him that I'm 21 again, and tells himself that he should have one inserted.

Perhaps you should do a dye test or some other modern test that can be carried out these days to tell you how narrow your arteries are before you drop another pill, which might be your last ?

If you do the test, it might cost you, but how much is your life worth, and at that stage you might decide how many years you've got left and if the cost to get a stent inserted (if required) is worth it for you rising to the occasion for many years to cum.

Keep it up :passify:

People die in Pattaya because of it I'm told, well kept secret.

don't forget it lowers blood pressure so can lower it to dangerous levels especially if have certain heart conditions already

You've come to the right place Mr Swissie for medical information.

Lots of Dr. AN's here, PhD's from Kangaroo University.

True story: wannabe old stud in my building overdosed on Viagra before a hot date, suffered dizziness in the shower, fell, hit his head on the shower curb, and DIED.

I wake up with cramp in my right leg, as well as my middle leg.

There is quite a mix of side effects and overdose in the thread.

Blurred vision, headache, heartburn are quite frequent side effects even on normal dosage of Viagra.

And that is  described in the leaflet ("after four hours...").

Permanent hurtful erection!?

The issues I’ve heard about viagra relate to not swallowing it properly leading to stiff necks and thieving ending up with police looking for hardened criminals. No overdose stories.

The way Viagra is used now was an accident. It was originally planned as heart medicine.

Keeping that in mind I think everybody should think twice before using it.

As far as I know officially people need a prescription to get it at all.

What would you do if you would get 10 comments, and everybody would write something like: Take as much as you want, no problem.

But later you find out 10 of 10 comments were wrong...

For that reason, and make sure you survive another day, I still suggest asking a professional.

Been using for nearly 15 years, with some side effects:

a) a very active sex life between 57 and 71 years of age,

b) two beautiful daughters.

Now Cialis 5mg daily is doing marvels.
