My guess is that in private he shows just as much disrespect and disregard for his supporters as he does his opponents. That's just who the man is, he has no honor, no respect, and no dignity.

Recommended reading is "One more Sunday" by John D. MacDonald. It demonstrates how Christianity is made into a commercial operation, identical to Trump asking for campaign donations.

He also hated Communists and Socialists and had them slaughtered by the thousands. He did the same to unionists. That article is by George Watson, an old line cold warrior. In fact, if you look at Hitler's actual policy, they had nothing to do with the state seizing the means of production which is the essence of socialism. Rather, his economic policies were aligned with supporting the major business interests at the expense of workers and supporting the military. This combined with nationalism and xenophobia are the essence of fascism.

I think it was Churchill who said the difference between Communism and Fascism consisted of whether it was a left or right jackboot doing the trampling of individual rights.
