We must accept all sexualities and genders and being a old PC woke lefty  Greenie socialist ,you should say the word "person" instead of "girl" although I'm unsure of the pronoun that "person" may be when you get a "stiffy"

I remember a time in the mid 80's when some US marines were at the boxing ring under the marine bar in walking street. One particularly fit individual sized up one of the muay Thai boxers and decided it would be a no contest since he was much bigger. Needless to say, he was taken out within moments and was pretty hurt, not just his feelings. It was a profitable day for the locals as much money changed hands before the fight.

Contrary to @Banana7's delicious fantasy--seems a bit obsessed, for some reason--Cobra Gold isn't about R&R at all. He made that up. It's about work.

 

The few sailors allowed any free time ashore now must follow strict regulations, meaning no "fun," according to the only definition of the word our aged adolescents understand. They go to the malls and nicer restos. You may find some drinking at the Hard Rock and nearby, for example==but not in beer bars. It's all very boring and professional these days.

 

Sorry, but keep enjoying the fantasies as you wish.

 

Cobra Gold ships are now anchored in Sriricha and Sattahip, if any of you swishy types want to offer service. Hang around the pier, I guess.

I was in Toulon years ago when the US navy came to town. There were a whole bunch of shady ladies showed up on the street corners . I guess they follow the fleet. There were three squads of police marching around ,they would come to attention outside of the bar and the NCO would come in and check it out and away they would go again. One was US navy, one was French navy and one was French police. I was drinking with the two guys that were in charge of lighting up the ships while they were in port. They seemed to be on their own schedule now body paid attention to them.

Many years ago I had Scouse work mate , was 6 feet 6 inches tall , big build and a ruffy tuffy guy , name big Jim . He picked up a job in Liverpool docks to provide a partial repair/ refit on an unloaded oil tanker which was going to Brazil , without docking on the way . Supplied by offshore means . It t took about 1 month . At arrival in Brazil the ships crew were all out for a good night  . After many beers Jim picked up a lady of the night and took her to his hotel . When it got down to the bedroom business Jim discovered that what he had picked up was a fella . Jim told me this . He said to me , keep it a secret but I was so horny , having been at sea for a month , that I shafted him . I was in hysterics when Jim said he had to call an ambulance in the morning because the Brazilian guy could not walk .

One of my first liberty ports while serving in the US Navy, ‘88-‘92, was Toulon. It was a great time. I will never forget my time spent in ‘the gut’. I wonder if that area of town is still called that?

Makes you wonder how stupid these wifes/gfs of navy must be. Everyone knows whenever they go to a foreign country most of them end up banging hookers and getting some pregnant. Why the hell would any smart woman marry or become a gf to someone in the military?

We all know of the stories from the past of them banging hookers in Pattaya and other locations around the world.

 

A young man stuck on a ship with tons of other dudes at sea for long period of time, then they come to Disneyland with women everywhere, they have some free time for R&R so they make the most of it before they get locked up on the ship again with a bunch of dudes again. Not to mention the peer pressure from their mates.

Since you declined to answer my questions "When did you serve in a Navy and did you "end up banging hookers and getting some pregnant?" I assume you did not serve and therefore your comments regarding "everyone" and "we all know" is not even from from some limited first hand experience and is just your opinion!
