heated confrontation in front of Pattaya Police Station this morning

I'm staying away from the cop shop, sounds like a dangerous place to be. 😮

The cops welcomed the change, Thai's fighting, it's always foreigners in punch ups at the cop shop.

each side called for their friends to face each other.

Three individuals, who were reported to be Mr. Watcharaphon’s friends allegedly began brawling with Mr. Theerapong’s friends.

Having friends on stand-by to call for a fight at a moment's notice: drop those noodles, stop crooning at the karaoke, leave the Family Mart now, come and fight!

Another of today's article is concerned about Thais visiting porn sites, while this eagerness to harm strangers at the drop of a hat is never addressed.

The issue is probably similar to my experience where a Thai bloke smashes into the rear of my car   and says " you stopped too quick" ( in an emergency braking situation), the problem escalates when I  called the police, and they agreed with him

Did you have a dash cam? Essential here in Thailand.

I had a Thai driver suddenly stop and then reverse into the front of my car. Police took one look at the dashcam footage and told him to pay up which he did next day.

A friend of mine had a similar I incident as yours. Guy who rear-ended him says he stopped too quick as did the Police. My friends insurance were having none of it and insisted the other driver pay up as he was obviously driving too close to stop safely.

Don't see enough BMWs here to have got the hate. Fortuner drivers on the other hand, it's like they are all on meth.. only marginally more behaved that the delivery trucks..

Problem is that white car has that government badge on the front, so he thinks he is in right. But other driver drives BMW, so he thinks he is in the right. Unsolvable situation. 🤷‍♂️

That's one of the problems on the roads of Thailand.

The drivers have no brains.

Well,  they do have them,  but they are brand new, unused and still in the box.

Its a me , me , society  in many ways.

Sick at times.

Have you ever watched Perps on the news being

escorted to and from court !

Fully protected in a helmet and vested.

The Police are nothing but inept clowns unfortunately.

Rare footage of Pattaya's police at work!

true, it's good to see them getting stuck in for a change. though to be fair, the noise and commotion was probably disturbing their facebook browsing. :coffee1:
