Phuket – An 18-year-old motorbike taxi rider was arrested after he allegedly sexually assaulted a German tourist in Phuket.

 

The Phuket City Police told the Phuket Express on Monday (February 26th) that they had arrested Mr. Pongpat Klaithonglam, 18, from Nakhon Si Thammarat. He was arrested at a rental room in Soi Surin 2 in Talad Yai sub-district, Phuket Town.

 

Pongpat has denied the accusation put forward by the German tourist to police. He said he did not sexually assault her. However, CCTV footage allegedly shows evidence of the incident while they were on a motorbike said Phuket police.
