Russian Man Arrested For Allegedly Working at Money Exchange Booth in Thalang

Phuket-On Monday, March 5th, the Sakoo Police apprehended a suspect identified only as Mr. Andrei, a 37-year-old Russian national, at a money exchange booth in the Sakoo sub-district.

 

The arrest occurred after he was allegedly found working inside the booth.


Mr. Andrei was taken to the Sakoo Police Station to face charges related to overstaying and working without permission.

Lots of Russian money (maybe mafia money, but not sure) has poured into Thailand in various businesses, condos, and real estate. And many Russians are getting work permits from these businesses. And sometimes, they employ illegal Russians in management roles and Myanmar people in low-skilled labor jobs.

I'm sure he won't mind the change of clothing from casual to camouflage.

There will plenty more like him working illegally 

Maybe the Thai people employing  them should do some jail time as a reminder to others 

But no doubt money talks 🤑

Another one has been lifted, one day overstay, and another was arrested for working in a weed shop, 

37 years old being that dumb? even 17 years old are more cautious, but 37?
