'Tis the Season to Listen to Our Noisy Trees, My Friends!

How many of you have sat outside listening to your trees, lately?

At this time of year, the fruit is falling....

Maybe some of you do not fully appreciate the beauty of this miracle, which signals rebirth, and new prosperity, ahead, for our world.

What are the nosiest trees that you enjoy in Thailand?

Regards,

Gamma

Note:  The sounds of trees can only be enjoyed in Thailand.  In Taiwan, there are no noisy trees.  In Pennsylvania, no noisy trees.

It's a miracle!

Note2:  What is your vote for the noisiest tree in Thailand?

Sounds like GG was sittin' with his arse cheeks wrapped around the porcelain god, after having consumed a lethal dose of Montezuma's Revenge, and, instead of accepting his fate, he took a solid hit off the bong and then started dreaming that he was under a fruit tree, as the barrage of plop-plop came jettisoning out of his bungholioooo! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤢🤮

No.

Bard is mistaken.

Bard thinks that I am describing the Jackfruit Tree.

Actually, not.

I am thinking of a giant tree with fruit that falls to earth, and goes plop, plop, plop, for about three or four weeks.

Anyone know what this noisy tree might be?

Bard is not right!

Where I live in Australia, the trees are noisy because they lose branches. On average, one tree per year falls over the road.

We have winds there, anywhere between 20 and 100 km/hr. It affects putting on exposed greens.

Fruit in the orchards usually gets picked before it can fall.

I think you might be hearing rubber trees dropping nuts, and not fruit trees. Hear them every time I step outside for a part of the year.

The majesty of Nature.

Yes.

You guessed the tree.

These trees drop fruit, if they are big enough, for several weeks.

Majestic!

Anyone interested in listening to CREAM in 2005 at the Royal Albert Hall....

Should probably buy the DVD, or download from the internet.

The YouTube quality is not up to snuff, IMHO.....

(Sound Quality is completely different on YT.  And, you can't even see the frets on YT.)

This is worth paying money for, in fact.....

Just sayin'......

I think it is this tree, they one near me, next to the road.

which is now red with the fruit?

Could be a Thai Guava tree. We have a huge one in the garden and it usually starts to shed its fruit this time of year. The fruit is green and hard and could easily brain you.

At first it sounded like me poop in the mornings, doing plop-plop on a good morning glory day 😁

When a very large tree begins to drop fruit, it puts your morning poops to shame.

The sound is magnificent.

Plop

Plop

Plop

For weeks on end.

Could it be a CATON (not sure of spelling) tree?  Had a very large one in my yard some years back.  When ready, 100's of CATON would fall every night.  They often broke open from the fall and by early morning would be covered by red ants.  Very messy and a daily chore to clean them up and dispose of the fruit.
