Marmite - Food of the devil I could think of nothing worse than putting it on ham or cheese - each to his own, I realize it's one of the most divisive foods on the planet, ;D 1 1

Keeps Posted March 25, 2024 Posted March 25, 2024 For those in Chiang Mai, there is a great shop near the Thapae Gate end of Ratvithi Road (same side of road as UNIrish pub). Think it is called Meat and Cheese. Specialises in toasted cheese sourdough sandwiches with optional additional fillings. They really are pretty good. Also sell the sourdough loaves.

Add a banana and you have a great quick breakfast... 😎 I was going to say cheese and banana, got into the habit during covid. I'd forgotten about Branston, worth alook for some. Can anyone recommend any toppings that aren't all sugar and additives.?
Prubangboy Posted March 25, 2024 Posted March 25, 2024 Two slices of cheddar on whole wheat with a thin spreading of mango chutney and a splash of Tabasco is my go-to when I need to eat, but don't want a meal. Praise to England, no other nation ever took the concept as toast so seriously. 1 1
Asquith Production Posted March 26, 2024 Posted March 26, 2024 Fry egg but keep yolk soft. When the white as solidified turn over and add thin slices of cheddar. Allow to melt on the egg then put on toast or bread. Lovely.
