That is an insane and unhinged reply. Are you saying you would prefer living in Russia, North Korea, Cuba or Yemen, over the US or Europe?

Go for it. It's a very high quality of life there. I dare you to move there.

It is interesting that a comment such as mine evokes accusations of unhinged insanity because it does not pledge allegiance to the selfish  foreign policies of your country.

Let us know which one of those four countries you're moving to, since you seem to have an affection for communist nations.

Please follow up and let us know how it works out. That assumes that you're able to access email or online platforms.

Ridiculously trite . Where and when have I indicated affection for communist  countries? I can and will ignore your instruction to go anywhere.

The only change in the disparity of relative quality in years of life since the proclaimed defeat of communism and fascist authoritarianism since ww2 are the flags of sycophantic nations that bow to the flag featuring an endangered eagle.

Was that not a critique of a nation that holds elections and has some free press? And does not assassinate its citizens when critical? And a bizarre statement that somehow the people of Cuba, Russia, Yemen, North Korea and China have the same quality of life as those in the US and the West?

I've been to Cuba many times I can tell you first hand that 99% of Cubans have an incredibly low quality of life, live in great poverty, earn very little money, have terrible health care (despite Michael Moores nonsense to the contrary) and have some of the worst agrarian environments to be found anywhere.

No sale.

I have no affinity to the political regimes of any  YOU have nominated.

But in isolation of consideration what exactly is it that Cuba presents as big a "threat" as North Korea that deems it worthy of gross suppression while maintaining a prison camp there housing individuals without charge or acknowledgement in contravention of international  law that on the other false hand of democratic principles is denied and ignored?

I will waste no more effort in pointing out multiple causes to dismiss your sad delusional loyalty to a country you do not live in.

I think it’s something to do with the nationalization of U.S. owned oil refineries and a fear of a socialist nation in continental America.

So, billions of dollars of aid are being sent to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.

What's happening ?  Tax-payers dollars in America used for foreign aid. The aid is not actually about buying food, and giving it to Africans and others, for free. The aid is about buying military hardware from US companies, and selling it at a subsidised price to Israel and Taiwan. And give it to Ukraine.

Why on earth is Taiwan getting weapons, subsidised by US tax-payers ?  As for Israel, all of us know, Israel has got the latest weapons from America, because it's being paid for by Americans.  No way can Israel afford all the weaponry they get from America.

Per Reuters:

The vote on passage of the Ukraine funding was 311-112. Significantly, 112 Republicans opposed the legislation, with only 101 in support.

The Israel aid was passed 366-58, had 37 Democrats and 21 Republicans in opposition.

Yes, those awful 112 republicans. May they live in infamy!

So, 112 ignoble, infantile Republicans voted to endanger civilization | Strictly Opinion | richmondregister.com

Stoking the passion that is their excuse for pandering - the nihilism of a febrile minority in their party - a majority of House Republicans voted last Saturday to endanger civilization. Hoping to enhance their political security in their mostly safe seats, and for the infantile satisfaction of populist naughtiness (insulting a mostly fictitious “establishment”), they voted to assure Vladimir Putin’s attempt to erase a European nation.

The Republican Party was founded as a noble rejection of the most consequential bad thing Congress has ever done: the 1854 Kansas-Nebraska Act, which authorized territories to vote slavery up or down, thereby valuing popular sovereignty more than liberty. On Saturday, the House voted 311-112 for $61 billion for Ukraine, with 112 ignoble House Republicans voting to condemn Ukraine to death, starved of such military basics as artillery shells. How many of the 112 know or care that more than half the $61 billion will fund restocking U.S. munitions inventories, as well as Ukraine’s purchases of U.S. weapons?

What is your proposal on stopping the aggressors in these regions... just ask them?  Tell them to stop?  Try to be real and offer a solution rather than justifying terrorists and hate from russia... hamas... china...

There’s a game now in play that’s worth paying attention to.

MTG and a handful of others in the extreme rightwing/Fluff-Trump/Pro-Putin wing of what used to be the GOP are promising retribution against Speaker Johnson.

His crime, listening to the intelligence reports and supporting America’s allies.

The thing is, can the extremists deliver on their threat? It’s not a given.

Johnson won decisive bi-partisan support of 360 Congressional votes.

Can MTG and her fellow travelers get the votes to oust the speaker?

Bring it on Marj’, strut your stuff and show us what you’ve got.

What’s on the line, the speaker’s job or your credibility?!

Oh and the whole MAGA in control of the GOP thing.

ludi incipiant!
