What's a reasonable price for a lady drink?

Went to a bar the other day.

My beer was 80THB and the girl's one was 150THB.

Are lady drinks always double the regular price ? (almost)

He didnt say what kind of a beer was 80 baht, since thats essential information, to know what kind of prices the bar have.

 

And seriously, 150 baht sounds cheap, even I havent bought a lady drink for 10 years, and I recall 250 baht, and a small bottle Heineken ranged from 90 - 120

It is interesting that you use the phrase "Lady Drink" which in Thailand denotes a drink for a "Lady" working for the bar rather than a drink for a " Lady Friend"!

A reasonable price would be 100 baht, Ban Chang bars charged that last time i was there. Windmill agogo 220 lady drink, 260 cocktail lady drink, i rarely buy them now

Quite simple really if its 120b then they are more likely to get more drinks, if its 220+b then not so likely.

Sorry it was a couple of rounds of Leo beer for me and the girl.

80THB For me and 150THB for her.

Not that I really mind but I thought for a small bar with pretty average girls in Hua Hin it would be something like 80THB for me and 120THB for the girl.

The ladies make money from those drinks. Some time ago they received about 50% of the sales price. I don't know if that changed over time.

And, to be fair, the rent from some bars/areas is outrageous. I know from one bar in Nana that they paid 40,000B rent. Per day!

You have to sell a lot of drinks to make money in such a situation.
