It might be helpful if you were a little more specific in your enquiry @Tariya. 'Unable to use' is just a little bit vague.

Where the OP has  written "unable to use" ? He is just asking if anyone able to use, what seems to be the case.

I've been using the online 90'er for a few years no problems ...  but this months try   rejected my  application attempts numerous times .. ended up having to go to my local immigration office  in person 😞 ... that was accepted  with  out a problem. and  when I asked why my online attempts were  rejected  I got a shrug of the shoulders and a vacant look

unable to use?  Make sure VPN is off!

Only time my 90 day has been rejected 2 years ago was when I got a new Passport.

Reading here I thought leaving the country then return thereafter I would get rejected I didnt Thailand one just dont know!

Online accepted my application three times and then it came back, after a day or so, as rejected three times, telling me to contact immigration.

The first time I applied too early. The second two applications, the response just told me to contact immigration.

I am up in Kalasin, so on Saturday morning, I posted my application. I enclosed the SAE and sent it by registered post.

I am well inside the window of 15 days before the 90-day online date, I will see what happens this week.

If no joy or response, it's a trip to the city beginning of next week.

Just out from immigration for the 90 day report. Asked why got rejection even if always worked OK online for many years.

Answer was that hab new system (software) and now need to do first 90 day report after returning to thailand in person, after that presumably can do online. Stupid if you ask me...

Before was so that you had to do in person after entering the country with new passport first time, after that ok online.

This may be completely unrelated. But it would be interesting to know if those experiencing rejections have updated their TM30 to the latest version of that system. I used to receive seemingly random rejections from the 90-day system but since registering on the updated TM30 system, all has gone smoothly with every 90-days submission.

I had reported my tm30 (myself online) day after my arrival in Feb. Officer did not say anything about tm30, just said new system such that every time after coming to thailand, can not do first 90 day report online. TIT

Submitted mine OK this morning.... yet to see if it works.

I got it back approved a few hours later... (but it went into my SPAM folder so missed it for a couple of days). All good, great service.

  • 2 weeks later...

Following three on line rejections citing incorrect arrival date and incorrect renewal date, despite being 100% correct  we went into the office in Soi 5 today to find out what is going on.

Several other ex pats were also in the Que  doing 90 day reports having also been refused on line, the girl on the front desk knows the problem and took us through to see one of the top officers and here is the story:

The system has been 'updated' and will now only approve  90 day applications from people who have recently arrived by air from overseas. I can only guess the data base is being built from arrival computers at airports.

It all sounds pretty strange but that is the information straight from one of the top officers.

Notwithstanding the above she also said 90 day applications should be made no later than 15 days in advance.

So that means exactly 15 days in advance as you can't do it earlier than 15 days. That makes it a 75 day report?

Are you sure? I was told your new 90 day count starts from the date you reported?

Offices maybe different, but the report I do is done about 12 days before due, the print-off passport slip has the actual report date and the next 90 day report date..on it ....

Since first using the online option for my 90 day report I have never had a failure/rejection.

On at least one occasion involving annual extension approval a  congenial Imm. Officer has  reset my 90 day report date as from same date. In theory that would presume  90day  reports would almost coincide with next annual extension date.

Unfortunately that has never happened. I have  diligently  relied on the  emailed  reminder of upcoming 90 day compliance and dutifully completed the process  some days later but  always prior to last official expiry date.

Despite  success the  next date for  compliance has never demonstrated correlation to  either date of online application  OR original expiry date.

I have concluded that although the 90 day report is a generic online application it is assigned by Passport  number to appropriate Immigration Office. It is processed by way of manual assessment at each Provincial Office and approval also responded to by manual input the  generic app.

Variations in dates nominated in the event of success and consecutive next compliance date are the result of personal decisions about what date to nominate at  time of input.

I have seen some mention receiving approvals within minutes or hours.

I have never  received in less than  4 days or more.

Has anyone experienced the result of  an online application made in the 7 day time period  tolerated for in person  applications?

Trans have you calculated the days from actual report date to the next one?

All mine have been 90 days as Pattaya57 mentions. This was also the case when going in person. Go 15 days early you effectively lose those 15 days - not like renewing your extension of stay early.

I can't imagine the online system could calculate a different date for different offices................but TIT :whistling:

Hmm, I have not flown in or out for about 4  years, yet my 90 day was approved on-line recently very efficiently.
