  • So the West is to blame for Russia invading a sovereign country at the whim of a despotic dictator? Where do you get your warped one sided information from?

The west's demand that Ukraine lower its recruiting age to 18 indicates the ugly truth. That even the press gangs aren't able to seize enough bodies to fill the UAF ranks emptied by death and desertion. Ukrainians don't want to die for US-Nato.

Once Pokrovsk falls it's over. Expect Russia to take everything east of the Dniepr plus Odesa and Kharkov and leave the rest for Hungary, Romania and Poland to divvy up according to their historical claims.

There won't be any Ukraine for Vance to worry about when he takes over in '28.

Since Russia hardly exports anything to the US, I doubt Putin is worried much about tariffs. As for sanctions, is there anything that hasn’t been sanctioned yet?

For once I agree with you. Useless 'threat' by trump.

Sadly russia continue war crimes and showing its real face more and more...

Today my friends told me that russia killed another 5 ukrainian POW.

Also russia keep sending missiles and drines to kill civilian people. There is not one russian drone targeting military target. This is what Hitler did in ww2 to London. Sending v2 to kill civs.

Also they got 1 colombian POW and showing how they interrogate him. Obviously all scripted and make up. Reality is russian prison guards rape or torture POWs. And more.

Today also have some good news. Russian counter attack slowed down. Maybe strategic bombing started to show its effect. Also ukraine mamaged to liberate some places from orcs.

Slava ukraini!

It's just Trump bluster. He did better as a friendly visitor.

Pretending to be a hard man isn't going to work against real hard men.

The tarriff threat to Russia is pure idiocy actually. What does Russia export to the USA these days?

Trump has been all over the place in the last few days on Ukraine.

Not even a concept of a credible plan.

I agree with you that Putin won't be impressed.

Someone is importing about $3bn of something from Russia to the US. And the tariffs aren't paid by Russia, but paid by the importers, with the cost passed on to their customers.

Russia was still selling enriched uranium to the US in October 2024. And gas turbines. Massive decline from 2022 to 2023, as expected. I suspect what is being exported now is "inelastic"; despite higher shipping costs, there are no alternatives. So slapping on a tariff now will make no difference.

Russia's economy is "reaching a crisis stage" and facing its "moment of truth", an expert hs warned, with pressure mounting on Vladimir Putin.

Businesses and consumers have been hit by a double whammy of spiralling inflation and high interest rates.

With interest rates at a record high of 21%, businesses in particular are struggling to pay back bank loans, with many reportedly facing bankruptcy.

Anders Åslund is a renowned Swedish economist and author with a detailed understanding of the Russian economy.

In an article for Project Syndicate, he argued Russia was heading for stagflation, meaning high inflation combined with minimal growth.

Update:

My friend from kursk told me that most likely north korean soldiers are going somewhere from kursk area
