The issue is many tourists, mainly Chinese, ignoring the lights and just making selfies whenever they feel like. 2 1 1

mokwit Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Imagine coming across it for the first time - would you be able to interpret it? What are the rules for this type of crossing. They invented a new kind of zebra crossing. 1 1

Painting a pedestrian crossing in LBGQT+ rainbow colours to appear to be with the times while causing a public hazard.... So in this example... Woke can be defined as excessive political correctness, virtue signalling and progressive activism that is overreaching and insincere. 2 1 1 3
Jingthing Posted July 13 Posted July 13 (edited) To be clear, I don't really care if people paint rainbows on crossings or not. It is rather an international trend though. As far as removing this one as evidence seems to show it is a safety hazard, if it really is a safety hazard, and that's not just some kind of excuse because some Thai Karens complained about it being too gay, I don't see a problem with that either. Actually this isn't my country anyway, so never mind. Edited July 13 by Jingthing

I'm supportive of all human rights and firmly believe in equality for all. In this example, I'm supportive of the rights for motorists and pedestrians not to have an accident on a slippery road surface that was painted without sensible forethought. 3 1

Popular Post OneMoreFarang Posted July 13 Popular Post Posted July 13 Whoever approved the rainbow paintjob should be prosecuted. Basically, every motorcycle rider knows what shiny paint surfaces are dangerous. And I am sure there were enough people involved in this job who ride motorcycle. Fire the woke idiots who love rainbow LBGTQ+/- but don't understand their job. 2 1
