Trump still in a state of shock from the flesh wound on his ear foolishly listened to his epically obnoxious blowhard son Don Jr. and went with J.D. Vance over a more sensible choice who would have actually helped him.

Trump made a BOO BOO.

 

Vance brings nothing to the ticket electorally.

Vance has almost no political experience.

Vance has the speaking charisma of damp rag.

Vance did a full 180 degree turn from Trump is Hitler to Trump is God.

The people smell a total opportunist phony and the people are right. 

Vance was bought by billionaires Theil and Musk to further their radical extremist anti democracy agenda.

Vance got a job in tech with zero qualifications based on Theil getting him in.

Vance in his wretched venture capital "career" backed just one company.

That one company went bankrupt.

Batting average -- 000

Vance was an ideological choice with the idea of having a Trump mini me who could project maga fascism well into the future after Trump fulfilling the idea of a fascist maga REICH as referenced in their propaganda literature.

Vance has even more unpopular extremist views than Trump on issues like abortion. 

The horrible for Trump mistake of the Vance pick was done when he arrogantly thought he was running against Biden with the expectation of a historic landslide sweeping in maga fascism without any resistance left in congress and certainly not SCOTUS.

Well, folks, happily, he messed up BIGLY!

Turns out Trump isn't quite the teflon God many of you thought he was.

No I am not saying 100 percent that Harris will beat Trump.

But it's starting to look pretty pretty good as far as her chances especially considering there is no chance she will be as stupid as Trump with her VP pick.

Can La Harris get thru the next few weeks without a big boo-boo? (A cackle in the wrong place, crumbling before a policy onslaught from a hostile interviewer, doesn't perform well in the grand debate if there is one ... ). So far she's looking really good and ticking all the boxes - younger, energetic, coloured, female etc. She now needs a state governor (younger white male) to balance out the platform and I think she's looking good for a win in November.

Way too early. Harris has not even picked a running mate. The polls show Harris leading by 2%.  Margin of error for polls can be as high as 4%.  The DNC is not until August. Was having Pence as his running mate  moved the needle for Trump in 2016.  Right now it's Harris and Trump until the nation sees who her running mate will be. The attack ads will really ramp after the DNC.  As the saying goes "you ain't seen nothing yet".  The PAC (R and D) are probably working in overdrive to plan and air attack ads during the fall.

I'd rather see a Hispanic. Trump was stealing Hispanic and Black men from Biden and hopefully this will reverse that and shore it up. Percentage-wise, very few white guys are gonna vote D.

He will appeal to the voters in the Rust Belt and the swing states there especially.  They will NOT be impressed with a California liberal whatsoever.  JD speaks their language and has lived in their world. He is also more conservative than Trump, especially on abortion. That will shore up the social conservatives, while Trump can still seem moderate.

And if people can ever openly discuss how Vance publicly wrote about masturbating into a glove between two couch cushions as a youth, then I believe we could call game set match.
