Why are there so many farang lefties in Thailand

Those on the right in general think that the USA is the greatest nation in the world, so why would they want to leave and find out it is not.

Historically the USA has been around the shortest time and accomplished and contributed more beneficial, positive innovative, tech, medicine, wealth and strength than any and all of the rest of countries...which have been around millennia longer. I can give you a simple answer. Ultra-leftist Jingthing, by far the most prolific poster on this forum, has been fueling the debate since 2015 when Trump first became a candidate. He had been quiet after Biden won in 2020 but since Trump reemerged last year, he has redoubled his efforts to energize his left-wing compatriates.

 

Every Trump thread is another Trump-bashing extravaganza and an uncomfortable place for any Trump supporters to post,  as they too will be attacked. I don't think there are more leftists on this forum, just that more of them post in US political threads.

In a later post you state that your figures are taken from observation of posters on this website; it is a strange extrapolation to then claim that 75% of farangs are centre left to far left.  It has no basis in a verified statistical process providing empirical research to back up your claim.  It is simply your subjective opinion of others on here based on what you do not like to hear.  Why does that the fact that, according your claimed statistics, you are outnumbered three to one worry you?  Some people are fortunate to have an option on where to live and their choices behind that decision are based on numerous and very different factors; they cannot be claimed to be because of their political leanings.  Such fear of the three to one ratio would suggest that you prefer to seek confirmation bias and political echo chambers to help you justify your political and social views.  There is nothing wrong with reading opposing opinions and discussing them rationally.  Too many resort to name calling as a way to dismiss a person of opposing views without attempting to at least consider their opinions and why they formed them.  In a different thread you called one of my posts, 'stupid'.  As if simple name calling is sufficient to dismiss/disprove anything written that you don't like!

People have a choice on what they read and the outlets that provide the information but again you categorise mainstream media as radical left wing.  If that is so, then mainstream people must all be radical left wing.  Perhaps your figures of 75% may be accurate?

Well it might be 60%. It varies. Somedays there are endless Trump bashers. Other days the righties turn up.

I have noticed that most of the farangs posting here are radical lefties.  That TH is more conservative has nothing to do with the farang posting (IMHO).  Why these posts are more liberal probably has more to do with the fact that liberals are more vocal than conservatives.

It was an Absolute Monarchy before 1932, after which it became a Constituational Monarchy. NOTE: it has a constitution. Many countries, including Australia and the UK, are Constitutional Monarchies.
