Correct. She is nuts. But many Trump supporters are fine people, they just don't like dem policy. I get that.

But, I do think Harris/Walz with walk over the Hillbilly Felony pair. By a large margin.

On that we will have to wait and see. It's a long time in politics till the election and Harris may let the mask slip. At least with Trump, there can't be anything left to dredge up to attack him with. It's all repeating the same thing over and over for the past year.

Harris is almost an unopened book in comparison. It would only take a recorded private conversation in which she disparaged white people or called half the population deplorable to change people's mind.

But then he decided to run , for personal aggrandizement alone.  And to everyone's surprise including Trump himself he won.

Then it was his time not to be a "Saint" but to make some kind of attempt to run the country. Trump failed, utterly.

Even his own VP Mike Pence does not endorse him.  Does anybody from the Trump dumpsterfire administration?

But 80 million dupes want 4 more years of him completely unrestrained by re-election concerns, proven un-impechable by the Congress for his crimes in office and now ruled untouchable under law as President by his corrupt hand picked SCOTUS

Because he can say he did not "start a war"?  It really boggles the mind. And you're English right?

Don't insult me. I have not a drop of that blood in me. I'm a Celt and proud to be one.

Your post convinces me that you have no idea as to why millions want him to win and I'm bored with repeating the reason why, so you can keep repeating the mantra or you can think about it. Either way carry on without me.

I don't think you do get it. Take your dislike of Trump and quintuple it and that, IMO, is how much Trump supporters despise Dems policies. They probably hate Washington even more. Have to to support a guy like Trump. He's not exactly a messenger from God almighty, is he. Unfortunately he is the best chance they have of smashing Washington ( politically, not literally ).

If you add that that he's in the beginning stages of extreme cognitive decline, and at best semi-senile, America is in for a long ride if he gets elected. Cognitive decline is irreversible and his decline from the last year of his presidency until now is absolutely shocking and very scary.

Posts using derogatory and toxic nicknames or intentional misspelling of people’s names will be removed. If you don’t want your post to be removed, spell people’s names correctly, this applies to both sides of the political debate.

Good point. The nuts will be out again attacking the legitimate government. Luckily, many are in jail.

I hope you know that most English have lots of Celtic DNA. Probably as much as the Irish, who have some Viking DNA.

Probably the most Celtic people are the Welsh.

For the record, here are some of Trump's noteworthy business failures.

  1. Trump Airlines — Trump borrowed $245 million to purchase Eastern Air Shuttle. He branded it Trump Airlines. He added gold bathroom fixtures. Two years later Trump could not cover the interest payment on his loan and defaulted.
  2. Trump Beverages — Although Trump touted his water as "one of the purest natural spring waters bottled in the world," it was simply bottled by a third party. Other beverages, including Trump Fire and Trump Power, seem not to have made it to market. And Trump's American Pale Ale died with a trademark withdrawal.
  3. Trump Game — Milton Bradley tried to sell it. As did Hasbro. After investment, the game died and went out of circulation.
  4. Trump Casinos — Trump filed for bankruptcy three times on his casinos, namely the Trump Taj Mahal, the Trump Marina and the Trump Plaza in New Jersey and the Trump Casino in Indiana. Trump avoided debt obligations of $3 billion the first time. Then $1.8 billion the second time. And then after reorganizing, shuffling money and assets, and waiting four years, Trump again declared bankruptcy after missing ongoing interest payments on multi-million dollar bonds. He was finally forced to step down as chairman.
  5. Trump Magazine — Trump Style and Trump World were renamed Trump Magazine to reap advertising dollars from his name recognition. However, Trump Magazine also went out of business.
  6. Trump Mortgage — Trump told CNBC in 2006 that "I think it's a great time to start a mortgage company. … The real-estate market is going to be very strong for a long time to come." Then the real estate market collapsed. Trump had hired E.J. Ridings as CEO of Trump Mortgage and boasted that Ridings had been a "top executive of one of Wall Street's most prestigious investment banks." Turned out Ridings had only six months of experience as a stockbroker. Trump Mortgage closed and never paid a $298,274 judgment it owed a former employee, nor the $3,555 it owed in unpaid taxes.
  7. Trump Steaks — Trump closed Trump Steaks due to a lack of sales while owing Buckhead Beef $715,000.
  8. Trump's Travel Site — GoTrump.com was in business for one year. Failed.
  9. Trumpnet — A telephone communication company that abandoned its trademark.
  10. Trump Tower Tampa — Trump sold his name to the developers and received $2 million. Then the project went belly-up with only $3,500 left in the company. Condo buyers sued Trump for allegedly misleading them. Trump settled and paid as little as $11,115 to buyers who had lost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
  11. Trump University or the Trump Entrepreneur Initiative — Trump staged wealth-building seminars costing up to $34,995 for mentorships that would offer students access to Trump's secrets of success. Instructors turned out to be motivational speakers sometimes with criminal records. Lawsuits and criminal investigations abound.
  12. Trump Vodka — Business failed due to a lack of sales.
  13. Trump Fragrances — Success by Trump, Empire by Trump, and Donald Trump: The Fragrances all failed due to being discontinued, perhaps as a result of few sales.
  14. Trump Mattress — Serta stopped offering a Trump-branded mattress, again likely due to slacking sales.
  15. Truth Social — This existing Trump business owes big money, and may well be breathing its last.

He boasts he is a successful businessman.

In a certain way, he is right. All of his failed businesses have a common factor - it is someone else who is left with the financial wreckage, while Trump walks away with the lion's share of any cash.

Narcissistic sociopaths can be quite charming. To them, it's just a tool to get what they want. It also does not matter how many people get hurt in the process, because they are moral vacuums.

People like Trump have the empathy of a scorpion.

I was not a Trump supporter in 2016. I preferred almost any other GOP candidate. But when elected Trump actually governed fairly moderately. He kept the economy on track, lowered interest and inflation and unemployment. They were stable and prosperous years until the pandemic. That convinced me that about 90% of what he says is bluster and BS. But the policies were sound.

Now, look at the policies of Harris/Walz.  Abortion until birth, anti-semitic, terrible economy, bad on immgration, etc.  Seems a no brainer choice. Not to mention that it is deeply suspicious how the Dems organized the coup against Joe Biden and the media just skips along past it. Plus the total lack of media access and interviews.... what are they hiding?

What is interesting is the number of folks here on AN who only hold  UK passports AND post constantly their support of Trump.

UK passport holders cannot vote for him. Trump will not do anything for America let alone anything  for you.

Do you have anything to suggest that Anglo Saxons were Celts?

Certainly not the Normans, who are descended from Vikings.

Red headed Irish likely have Spanish blood.

Most inhabitants of England prior to the Anglo-Saxons were Celts.

The Anglo-Saxons contributed about 15 percent of English DNA. They didn't wipe out the Britons, they were assimilated, since not that many Anglo-Saxons actually came to Britain.

Viking blood, from the Viking colonies around Dublin.

"Black Irish" are descended from Spanish Celts who emigrated to Ireland 2,500 years ago.
