cheap but reasonable Thai Buffets in Pattaya?

Apa Talay Pao Jomtein. Not the cheapest but good.

Price includes soft drinks. Buy 3 beers get 1 free.

Roast duck was very good at Jomtein branch .Ayuthaya branch didn't serve roast duck when I went there.

There are two similar buffet restaurants side by side, dont goto the wrong one.

Live band is very load, don't sit too close to the stage.

The photo is exactly how Thai food is presented in many markets. Curries, stews, rice, vegetables, whatever. How long have you lived here and not been aware of this? Nothing wrong with the photo .. set up looks great ... 

but actually I prefer Bangers & mash, or a pepperoni pizza than that buffet. 

 

If you like it then be my guest but I don't have to like it.  I do like a Penang curry,  or green chicken curry.

Now get down off your high horse and have a cold beer ...       and cheer up   !

I think Sizzlers buffet is pretty good value all in all.  You get the buffet of all salads and you can also order chicken or pork steak for around 260 baht if I remember.

Kao Gang is where they give you a plate of rice and you chose two or three precooked sides placed on the same plate.

Kao Gang at Pattaya Terminal 21 food court is very good. The pork pumpkin massaman curry is delicious.

Totally agree, chaque à son gout. I can go green curry or paneng, or decent sausage and mash. But good Thai curry is a lot easier to find here than a decent banger, for sure!

 

PS I quit booze many years ago. Call it virtue signalling if you want. It has it's upsides and downsides.
