Vice President Kamala Harris is making a bid for the White House with running mate Tim Walz after replacing President Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket just a few months before Election Day.

 

A new poll suggests that Harris has the only positive approval rating of any candidate, and leads in almost all battleground states.

I suspect that somebody new will emerge for the Republicans after Trump loses in November.

 

Trump is not just going to lose, he is going to make Mike Johnson the former Speaker of the House.

 

Right now, my feeling is that the Senate will be 50/50 after the election. The Dems will lose West Virginia and may lose Montana. I don't know where they will pick up a seat, maybe Ted Cruz or Rick Scott lose.

Winning the national poll is like capturing the most pawns in a game of chess. Interesting but irrelevant.  The swing states are the key, and they are still very much up for grabs, depending on what poll you see.  Harris will lose her 'honeymoon bump' and fall back to earth. Possibly during the Convention if it is disrupted, and definitely once she starts actually speaking TO the public and not AT the public.  Her campaign so far has been brilliant in keeping her far from actual Q and A, and that has helped for sure. But it can't last until November.

No matter what happens, in October the media will report "the race is getting closer", because they need interest in the race to gain viewership.

I don't like Socialism or Communism, but it's occurred to me that my wife and I run Catdom with 25 rescued cats in that way. 

My wife and I are the dictators / leaders.

The cats are told what to eat and the amount is controlled.

The cats are all equal.

They all sleep in "government-" controlled accommodation.

The dictators act like the Cat Police and enforce their laws.

The cats have no opportunity to elect their leaders as my wife and I control the power in Catdom. Elections are banned.

In my opinion he started to fade in the last year of his presidency. He may have had a minor stroke. Since then, it has been a steady downhill path. Far less coherent than in the past, very hard for him to continue a sentence for more than 15 seconds, alot of rambling, complaining, playing the victim card, and juvenile name calling as usual. Even most of the CEO's he met with a month ago were shocked at how lacking his message was.

 

He is in the beginning stages of severe cognitive decline and it's a horrific thing to watch, he's an increasingly dangerous man and having him as the oldest elected president in history would not be a good thing. He rambles on and on, and it is easy to discern that he has a very hard time maintaining a thought for more than 15 seconds. He is, and has always been the master of slogans, and memes, but the public is just getting tired of the same game, day in and day out. He does not possess the creative juice to adapt, and that is absolutely killing his campaign, at this point. He is headed for the greatest humiliation of his lifetime.

 

He's old, he's tired, he's now the oldest person to ever run for president, he's feels like he's 85 or 90 right now, he seems to be losing interest, he seems to be losing the plot, his message is getting tired, he has no ability to dance on his feet and be creative, and adapt, and he just seems to be disintegrating before our eyes, which is a beautiful thing to watch.

 

And now, he seems to regret his choice of Vance, and seems very stressed out over Harris. Can't blame him for that. He and his campaign does seem to be imploding.  

 

The real issue now is that JNNP Trump (just nasty, no policy) has no message. He is a broken record, and people are getting tired of hearing the same juvenile no sense every time he speaks. He does not have a plan B. And he is incapable of adapting. This is just who he is. One game plan. Super nasty, all the time. The people want more. Alot more. Harris/Walz, no matter what you think of them, they're giving the people hope, they're giving the people something to believe in, they have a positive message. That's what people want right now and Trump and Vance are both incapable of that. 

 

I remember the polls in 2016 - I remember CNN, MSNBC, and even Obama all LAUGHING at Trump.

     Don't I wish 'the American voters will decide'.  The 'American voters' decided for Clinton in 2016, to the tune of 2.8 million more votes, not 'very tight' at all.  A blowout.  The EC, unfortunately for the country, 'decided' that election and we ended up with the worst presidency in US history.   

     Almost happened again in 2020, when the blowout was 7 million votes more in favor of Biden.  Again, not 'very tight' at all with the actual voters.  If you want an actual 'tight' race, try Bush-Gore, with a less than 600,000 vote difference, in favor of Gore.   Or Kennedy-Nixon, with less than 113,000 votes in favor of Kennedy.
