I have been using Saw Palmetto and Pumpkin seed oil for the past 10 years with good results. (For best results, both need to be taken together.) I went from 5-6 times a night to 1-2.

But about 3 years ago, I needed something more, and on advice from Dr. Google, added half of a generic Cialis every other day. That did the trick, and my usual is once a night now.
I don't mind the side effects of Cialis...  🙂

I think Saw Palmetto works pretty well for me also, but you have to take it for several months before you notice any improvement. Most people give up on it too soon. Did you get a prescription for the generic Cialis?

Here us a very good video on the state of the art treatments... Sadly the focus is on Aquablation which is not yet available in Thailand... But a good watch for anyone who faces the issue...

I tried Saw Palmetto for a few months, and I did not seem to realize any benefit, but my kidney function dropped in my last blood work.

It may or may not be related, but I stopped taking it, and I'll see how my kidney function is in my next blood work.

Some studies have found that ejaculating more frequently may be associated with a lower risk of prostate cancer. For example, one Harvard study found that men who ejaculated 21 or more times a month had a 31% lower risk of prostate cancer than men who ejaculated 4–7 times a month. This effect was still significant after accounting for other lifestyle factors and PSA testing frequency.

Too many lazy just sit around.  Sitting on their prostate it probably just decays and dies over time.

Stay in reasonable shape, exercise eat right and most importantly ejaculate frequently.   Fiarly simple.

Saw Palmetto alone never worked for me, but it was a whole new ballgame when I combined it with Pumpkin seed oil. I used that combination for years until it needed a bit of a push, so I added the half tablet of Cialis every other day.  There is no need for a prescription for Cialis in Thailand.

Several medications make urination difficult, such as Sudafed. When I have to take that, I take the half tab every day to compensate.

I do not want the surgery.

I asked about surgery, and my doctor told me that the medications widely used and safe, and not to have any surgery as long as the meds worked.

I have an enlarged prostate and though I am loathe to have any invasive procedures I checked on Rezum as I was getting ads on Facebook every day. Immediately came a follow up quoting costs of over Bht200,000 + , just for interest I searched for costings in other parts of the world and found European average of approx. Euro 2500-3500 something doesn't quite add up.

I can have an Airline ticket and  short holiday in Europe with the money left over.

Do you have any problem with low blood pressure using Cialis?

I used to average 120/70. These days the average is 110/65...
It's lower, but it is not significant.

Depends on the individual. 50 mg Sidegra drops me to 80/40.

would you mind giving the  amounts and frequency/time of day that you use for the Saw Palmetto and Pumpkin seed oil ?

I have yet to order the Pumpkin seed oil but i see can get Swanson brand quickly on Lazada........ though iHerb is a bit cheaper .

Ten years sounds pretty good !

(pm me if you prefer)  .  Thanks !

Indeed, Thailand seems to be pricing itself out of the medical tourism market... (unless it's a government hospital)

Rezum is a relativ new procedure in Thailand and the hospitals had to invest in purchasing equipment and training of  doctors (maybe even overseas). In the US the procedure does exist since 5 years or so with lots of patients treated every day since than. I guess that this is the reason for the high prices here.

Ah, the Thai kind of economics 🙂 No thought to keep prices lower and temporarily operate at a financial loss to attract customers.

Ok. But I doubt that hospitals can attract so many customers here. Most Thais with prostate problems will most probably use the government insurance for expensive treatments and not go to private hospitals. For foreigners it is the question of insurance coverage or self payment.

Personally, I buy these two through Lazada or Shopee, but one needs to be VERY careful when choosing the vendor. You can find the same product at many different prices. You can also see the same product photo being used for different dosages!

I have started using Lazada more lately ( buy many NOW brand on iHerb, but wait time is longer ,  pills subjected to heat from travel,  etc ) .   The Mrs. is great at finding deals and discounts on Lazada.   I already had saw palmeto 540 mg .... and yesterday ordered the pumpkin seed oil 1000 mg , Swanson brand,  from Lazada.

Thank you for sending YOUR dosage ( i am surprised, only once a day ) , but agree 100% that dosage must be determined individually.... and starting LOW  is the smartest way .   It is helpful to know (anecdotally)  how others fare and how much they take.

I will forego the Cialis at first .  My blood pressure is on the low end,  so i could take it if needed.   We all want to avoid meds if possible,  and also definitely surgeries .

Stay well . (and btw ,  i live out by Finicky ... )

To date, I've asked at least 4-5 different doctors about this, and so far, all have said 'If it's working, keep it up.

Is there a specific doctor or urologist you like (in CM)  if I need to consult about gastro or urinary matters ?   Its been ages since i have seen a doctor ..... though i go myself to check blood every year or so at a lab .

Sorry, but until recently, I just went to Rajavej if I needed to see a doctor, so would talk with whichever doctor was there at the time. I will say that I will no longer use Rajavej for its walk-in clinic, but because of Thailand's ridiculous laws, can not tell you why.
Instead, I have discovered Dr. Morgan's clinic on the Hang Dong road. She speaks fluent English, listens to the patient, has lab facilities, and solves my problems when I have them. Excellent medical care! I recommend her Medical advice and treatment wholeheartedly!
