there is a channel on youtube I like to watch which shows US political cartoons on a number of topics, of course most are about US politics. the channel's name is "Laughter". cartoons from all political sides are shown, and I noticed a significant difference between pro-MAGA cartoons and others. the pro-MAGA cartoons aren't subtle, often fail to be funny, feel forced and seem primitive. I think they are a good reflection of the actual politics they are caricaturing. -

Note that the article refers to 413 studies. And that particular statement - addressed on page 14 of 33 - comes from a study performed by Ling RR et al. (2022) which has been inserted as part of the discussions. But the authors of the study come to a very different conclusion. For sake of clarity I have posted below the actual conclusions of the study below. 5. Conclusions This systematic review highlights the potential of cardiac and neurological complications following COVID-19 vaccination, as reported through case reports and case series. The most frequently reported complications were myocarditis, Guillain–Barré syndrome (GBS), ischemic stroke and exacerbations of multiple sclerosis. However, it is essential to interpret these findings within the broader context of the available evidence. It is crucial to acknowledge that the true prevalence and distribution of post-vaccination complications in the general population may be underestimated due to potential biases in case reporting and publication. Additionally, the mechanisms underlying these complications are not fully elucidated, and further research is needed to understand the pathways involved. Continuous surveillance, the close monitoring of vaccinated individuals and the prompt treatment of relevant complications are essential, especially for those with associated risk factors or pre-existing comorbidities. Healthcare providers should remain vigilant and provide appropriate counselling to patients regarding the potential risks and benefits of COVID-19 vaccination. = = = -

On second thought, extremely unlikely. Only 6 years from now. Once there is better infrastructure and if the batteries are proven to last 300,000 kilometers plus which IMO will be the case, the switch will happen very quickly. Been playing around with Lifepo4 batteries for 5 years now and they are amazing. The new Lifepo4 batteries put in most MGs after 2022 should last easily 2500 full cycles before state of health dropping below 75 % which equates to 750,000 kilometers. That battery could then be used for home solar storage for another 10 years. Not enough data out there that I can say you are wrong but I expect you are most definitely going to see the error in your judgement in the next 5 years. I hope so because I intend on purchasing an EV soon. I'm definitely biased 🙂 -

On my recent trip to Thailand I did a land border crossing into Malaysia. I left the car at the border and met a friend on the Malaysian side. I guess 800 metres or so separates the two countries and suddenly drivers know how to drive properly. I assume that it is simply down to discipline and law enforcement. -

Not really. Trump just made a pet gaffe, had the moderators pile in on him and focused too much on defending his own record. Because he waffled about irrelevant stuff, he let Harris' off the hook for her own waffling about anything but the question she was asked. Q: "Why did you change your position on fracking?" A: "My values have not changed". Okay then, real masterful performance. Great answer. True answer: Because I want to get votes any way possible, I have no principles and no policies anyway. I just want to be president.
