I don't follow Trump, turns out there's eight videos of Gold Star families ripping into Harris on his X feed.

Sometimes saying nothing is the best policy.

source:

"Why did we want Trump there? It wasn't to help his political campaign," Mark Schmitz said in the video. "We wanted a leader. That explains why you and Joe didn't get a call."

I thought this was a in your face moment for the Gold Star Dad!

Truly brutal. I suggest forum members go watch the videos. This is the first severe snake bite for Harris in this campaign. Horrendous misjudgement.

If you're living in the maga bubble.

13 dead servicemen as a result of Biden-Harris' incompetence, and Biden lying about it, crickets from the left.

Trump showing up at their wreath-laying ceremony after being invited by Gold Star families, and it's the end of the world.

VVA: Trump’s Attack on Gold Star Family Is Disgraceful and Un-American

(Washington, DC) – Vietnam Veterans of America is a non-partisan, war-time veterans’ membership and service organization that does not endorse or support political candidates at any level. “However, we cannot remain silent when a Gold Star family member is being publicly denigrated, ” said John Rowan, National President of Vietnam Veterans of America. “It is especially reprehensible when that individual is seeking to become the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of our nation. To lash out and disparage a family whose son gave his life defending this country is both shocking and disgraceful, ” said Rowan. And though Trump may never have spent a day in uniform, his disdain for the sacrifice of this young man and all who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our Constitution is singularly un-American.”

And how did Trump avoid service? Right...coward

Not to steer away from the OP, but on the subject of being a coward:

yes, we know he is a coward.  He's the bold man when it comes to lawsuits, he's probably had more legal cases than he's had sex.  Tough guy with reporters, especially female ones.  Non-White people?  Aww, do you really have to ask?

IMO, the telling thing about that "bullet to the ear" incident a few weeks ago is this pic

There is no foreknowledge of the situation, such as multiple shooters, or is in some way part of a larger operation, right?

And here we have a guy we know is a coward behaving like he is the groom at a Jewish wedding.  He knows that's all there is, otherwise he would be cowering.

For those who didn't get the wedding reference

MUST READ AND WATCH: Statement and Video Messages to Kamala Harris from Gold Star Families
September 01, 2024  on https://www.donaldjtrump.com/news/2d8335e6-3b8f-498a-96df-cb3e42f22094  <SNIP>

"We, the families of the brave service members who were tragically killed in the Abbey Gate bombing, are appalled by Vice President Kamala Harris’ recent attempts to politicize President Trump’s visit to Arlington National Cemetery. President Trump was invited by us, the Gold Star families, to attend the solemn ceremonies commemorating the three-year anniversary of our children's deaths. He was there to honor their sacrifice, yet Vice President Harris has disgracefully twisted this sacred moment into a political ploy.

President Trump, on the other hand, has been the only Commander-in-Chief to consistently recognize the heroism of our children. His attendance at Arlington was not for political gain but to stand with us, to grieve with us, and to honor the legacy of those who gave everything for this nation. His leadership during his time in office was strong, and we have no doubt that if he were still Commander-in-Chief, our children would be alive today.

BTW note in this cropped photo upper right next to the chair are 3 members of Trump's 2024 campaign staff LaCivita, Cheung (on phone) and Ms. Karoline  Leavitt

The British military and NATO were astounded as to how Biden handled this withdrawal, an utter farce.

The British military and NATO were surprised by the speed with which the withdrawal happened. That was Biden's call.

We were also surprised by the total "bag of b*ll*cks" they made of it - after all it is not the first allied country they have left in a hurry. That is not attributable to Biden.

Stop using a terrible event to further your political  agenda. The 2021 suicide bombing attack that killed 13 U.S. service members and roughly 170 Afghan civilians at Hamid Karzai International Airport's Abbey Gate was next to impossible to have prevented. If you had active combat experience in Afghanistan or urban warfare in Iraq or the Palestinian territories, you would know that suicide events are typical of how the local fighters behaved. even at full strength, coalition forces took casualties from suicide  bombs and from IED booby traps on dead or wounded  people.

When you have been in a command position you will understand why your comments are terribly wrong. VP Harris had no authority or control over military personnel. President Biden  was not directing or managing the  gate. The fact is, that any lapse in security or failure to secure the gate was local command's responsibility. Multiple reviews were conducted and cleared the local leadership and officers. The  last review  was oOrdered by U.S. Army Central Command in September 2023, the results of the two-year supplemental review found that no new information disclosed in public testimony since March 2023 had any material impact on the original investigation's findings. It also confirmed that a lone ISIS-K suicide bomber had carried out the attack, and that the attack could not have been preventable at the tactical level.

What magical knowledge of defensive tactics do you have that  is 100%  perfect in  stopping  suicide bombings? Even the Israelis who relied  on double corridors, automation and cameras were not safe from suicide bombers at the  border crossings. One  event involved an ambulance carrying a "wounded" person that blew up. This is the mentality of these people.

So it's okay for Harris supporters to use the wreath-laying ceremony to attack Trump, but it's not okay to point out that it's likely the only reason there is a wreath-laying ceremony at all is because of the incompetence of the Biden-Harris administration.

Do you think the Harris' attacks on Trump make the families of the dead servicemen that invited Trump feel better or worse?
