Yes it does matter. Thai's hit and run all the time here, most other nationalities don't in Thailand. Duh. -

Trump Works at McDonald’s claims Kamala Harris 'never has
No. You clearly implied it would be easy for Harris to prove that she specifically worked a short stint at McDonalds over 40 years ago. It may indeed be impossible. -

They were playing Jingle Bells in my Lotus last week. I asked them to turn it off until 1st December. They did. -

Seeking “hole in the wall” restaurants in CM for home-style farang food
. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Next up: Gekko Garden suggested above by @FolkGuitar This is exactly the kind of food I had in mind when I put up the original post. Exactly! I've never been to eat at Gekko Garden, but after seeing their menu, it won't be long before I correct that mistake. -

So much staff everywhere ... what is behind it?
Coming from a western European country, one of the things that amazes me the most in Thailand is the abundance of staff everywhere: at the airports, at bigger shops, in the malls etc. Certainly staff in Europe is not so easy to come by and it is a big expense. Now I know Thailand has a very low minimum wage and relatively more young people than Europe. And also Thailand is more service-minded for sure. But for me this is not enough of an explanation. This weekend when we were at HomePro and looking around me in 360 degrees I saw about 20 staff members, all doing absolutely nothing. Earlier, when we were looking at vacuum cleaners, there were about 15 other staff standing around. Most of them do nothing. It was not busy in the shop. So cheap labor or not, it seems that having so much staff around is an absolute waste of money. My girlfriend suggested that having a certain number of staff might give the company some additional tax benefits or increase the company's value. What is the true reason there is so much staff everywhere? -

Most Thai's eh? So you must have been in a lot of fights if you have lived here for any length of time. Brit man was hit by an A hole, does not matter if he was Thai, American or any other nationality.- 1

How about the foreigners here who support Trump because he will weaken America, and so a multi-polar world would emerge?
