I inadvertently submitted the online form without my first name a few years back. As you say it's not starred as required information.
I actually received a phone call from someone at CW to tell me that it was missing. She told me she'd cancel it so that I could resubmit, which I did and it was approved almost immediately. That was service!

Not 10 minutes at Jomtien but they do have a huge volume.  Did my 90 day there this past Monday, arriving at 10:30am with all forms and copies prepared. Sign on the counter said 1 hour wait. Turned out to be 40 minutes.

Watched as one man yelled at the counter girl for 5 minutes, really aggressively.  She gave it right back.  He finally stormed out waving his arms in the air, expressing his outrage at everything Thai.  I wouldn't want their job.

Thats exactly the reason I pay an agent 100b to do this for me.I used to do my annual extensions myself for years. Until I was told to get another copy one time too many ...with all the same/correct paperwork ..f that  no more for me thank you very much kap!

I no longer go to Soi 5 except to get a quick pic and out!

I gladly pay for that service.

Its really what they want anyway.Easy money from the agents and they can stamp a ton of passports on their lunch breaks.

I,ve checked and the signature is exactly the same pre agent and after.

I rest my case!

Hadn't noticed that it is now missing,it was definitely there for my first and many subsequent online reports.

Maybe it was only there in the app.

I've been doing my 90-day reports on-line for some time now.  However, I am traveling out of the country in December and my next 90-day report on-line may be rejected and I may need to do it in person.   If I remember correctly, I used to only bring my passport to Jomtien to do the 90-day report and they would put the new slip in the passport.  Can you tell me what 'forms and copies' they are requiring now?  Thank you.

I'm on an LTR visa now and no longer need to do a 90-day report.

But I was on Type-OA/O visas for some years, where I did have to do 90-day reports. The immigration office I would go to is in Phuket.   I can't recall the on-line ever working  for me (and I never ceased trying).

However Phuket immigration has a 'drive through' where one remains in their car and drives to a booth at immigration, and one can pass their passport through the car window.  It normally works great - and its only a ~15 minute car drive away from where I live.

I also recall once where I forgot (almost) to do my 90-day report. It was the evening of the 6th day AFTER the 90-day report due, and I realized I forgot.  The next morning I rushed to Phuket immigration. The drive through booth was closed !  So I parked my car and went into the immigration building.

The Phuket volunteers who do the initial screening advised me I was likely out of luck, as the computer system was down,  and probably I would have to return a day later, and pay the fine for doing my report late !!

But at my request they gave me a 'waiting #' so I could talk to a Thai immigration officer (IO).

When my # called, I very politely chatted to the IO. He filled in some paper work (so my info could be entered later by immigration when the computers came back online) and confirmed my 90-day successful.  No fine as I was within the 7-day grace period.

This was extra work on the immigration part - and it was me who was using every day of the '7-day' grace given for late 90-day reports.   Still - I was very happy with immigration in this case.

Phuket immigration is almost always VERY busy - with big lines. In general I am impressed with the immigration in this province, given that even after the office closes,  the employees are often still there working late, processing the paperwork.

Not sure its everywhere but had the one in July rejected and had to go in person, nice lady told me when doing online had to be submitted and received before the due date... Online reporting has no grace period. That was Jomtien so.... but did my October 4 days early.. No issues..

Clearly why they went after this guy - arrived on a fresh passport with a new Non-OA, went to do his 90-day report, and was told they wanted to see his "old passport" - to spite not having been here for years, and not coming to Thailand with it.

They let it slide, eventually,  but he got the message - is now contemplating using an agent for his 100% legit extension, now.

Just to add, any half decent computer system would validate the input to make sure that all required information was input.

They put red stars next to some input field, I'm guessing to indicate they are mandatory.  However, forename is not flagged as such, even though it is required.  There are other fields, too, I believe.

I just wonder who actually developed this system.

A Thai plumber and electrician of course, who else?

been going to CW since it was opened, honestly i've always found the place reasonably well organised, the staff generally courteous, some even friendly, and helpful.

i have witnessed occasional issues but they often arise due to the foreigner's attitude/behavior, or that of his thai wife/partner. the most often, and amusing, issues i witness are thai/foreigner couples publicly arguing or squabbling.

Sorta agree.

Please explain this.

Many annual extensions at CW based on retirement.

TM47 was never previously required.

Then last 2 years doc check chicks wanted/insisted on that doc.

This week did my annual extension and TM47 not required.

Few months back I did stamp transfer to new pp.

Have done that twice previously.

This most recent one CW insisted that I supply bankbook photocopies back to start of current extension.

Along with update of bankbook and activity.

For 10 years extensions my bank book was sufficient even though I had few months no activity.

Immigration insisted on 12 month bank statement.

I can go on .... immigration throughout Thailand at various offices is a crap shoot.

Am I missing something ?

What forms and copies does your Imm Office require for a 90 day report ?

I walk in, hand over passport, keyboard rattled,  print, fold and stapled into passport, back out the door 2 minutes later.

There is stated list of required docs.

Some even mention TM30.

In reality most immigration offices just require pp.

I did one this week at CW.

I handed her a TM30 and she used that for address clarity and handed it back. 2 minutes
