President Joe Biden's Historical Legacy is Ruined

Biden should have stepped aside much earlier, so Democrats could have run proper primary.

Biden has lots to answer for, and Trump's second term is on Biden.

The very worst period of Biden refusing to step aside was in June, after his horrendous debate performance, Biden couldn't speak, he looked like he was about to literally collapse on stage.

 

And what did Biden do? Instead of calling a press conference next morning after the debate, Biden kept insisting that he will be6st Trump. That month of Biden living in alternative universe is what crippled Kamala Harris. Biden was clinging to power, seemingly unaware that he isn't even capable of finishing a a sentence. Biden wrote to Congress Democrats that he is not about to go anywhere and will run against Trump. 

 

Has Biden ran in November, he would have possibly lost even NY. Every painful day of Biden's and Jill Biden pushibf Jõe to stay, was painful and did lasting damage to Dem ticket. Excuse, me Dr. Jill Biden.

 

Joe's legacy is clear - Joe Biden gave America and the world Donald Trump's presidency. I hope Joe can sleep at night.

Trump now has popular vote and convincing majority of electoral college, America deserves Trump. Rest of us, Ukraine, Eastern Europe, Baltic states, we didn't deserve Trump's second term.

 

Ttrump's presidecy is on Biden alone, no pussyfooting around it. His 40 year career in Washington is wiped away. He is a sad, old loser.

He will long be remembered for his bungled pathetic Afghanistan night pull-out of the US army which left 13 US soldiers killed and more than 170 civilians dead during the withdrawal.

 

And absolute mess and terrible decision by a US president,   instead of just a proper co-ordinated withdrawal including ALL military assets,   not just 10% .. and leaving millions of dollars worth of hardware behind for the Taliban to have for free.

Yes Biden made a big mistake running for reelection. If Harris had won history would be kindder though.

I hope they have a plan for communications if they want to continue fighting once Musk says he won't offer them a network forever. Without Starlink they literally have no capabilities. I just got a Starlink go. $600 for the box and $165 a month. It isn't cheap Starlink isn't a charity.

I am saying Musk has no obligation to provide the brains of the Ukraine war effort forever for free of charge. The global roaming plan is actually $1,000 a month. It has limited availability. Eastern Ukraine is an extremity that is black with gangrene. In less than two years there is nobody left to fight for Ukraine. 

 

If you want to save Kyiv, you must cut the gangrene out. There is no way a war can continue with no end game, no funding, no modern communications in perpetuity. 

 

The only end is to concede territory and the killing can stop. That brings us to the cost of rebuilding. Kyiv is doable but now they are fighting over rubble in the east. If Russia takes it, thats a liability for Russia not an asset. It will be plagued with guerrilla warfare

Right. Are we talking about the same Joe Biden that the left swooned over and compared to George Washington when he finally dropped out? 

 

Like him or not, Biden was clearly in rapid decline when he took office. None of this is on him. He should have been booted out after a year, Harris would have been President, and had the left been honest, that is what would have happened.

Trump provided weapons to Ukraine, and sanctioned Russia

The Eastern part of Ukraine is its most valuable asset in terms of agriculture. It has one quarter of the world's chernozem, rich black soil which will grow anything.

 

I seriously doubt Putin will stop there, however. He wants the Russian Federation back at the Fulda Gap.

Harris and Shapiro both coastal lawyers so too similar. Harris is married to a Jew so to many Americans  that would look too Jewy. Reading between the lines, I can tell you that based on media I read, American Jews weren't  angry about this. Aware of it but understanding. The number one issue for American Jews in this cycle was different than other groups. No, not Israel. Saving American democracy. If Harris had good reasons to think Walz was a better bet for winning than Shapiro, then it was a reasonable choice to make. Of course neither ticket would have won. But if Biden had stayed it would have been a REAL landslide perhaps as bad as Mondale. Trump Harris wasn't actually a landslide but it was a clear solid win. 

 

If there are future elections after maga / Project 2025 has their dark way with American democracy, definitely Shapiro will be one of the potential democratic stars. He's more of a top of the ticket guy.

Aside from Project 2025, if in four years there is no two-state solution in sight and the situation in the Occupied Territories is worse, Michigan would be a serious vulnerability with a pro-Israel Jew leading the Democratic ticket. 

 

As for the 2000 election, Gore looked pretty healthy, but proposing a strident Orthodox Jew as VP was not sensible with the failure of Camp David and Ariel Sharon's subsequent provocation on the Temple Mount a few months before the election. You may remember that the pivotal state was Florida where Gore lost by 529 votes while Ralph Nader, a Lebanese-American, got 100,000 votes in that state. That seems to be quite a high number for the Greens. 

 

Harris in any case was damaged goods by being Biden's VP, and she failed to show how she would do differently and better than Biden. She did not come off as authentic to me, rather insensitive to the concerns of the people. Her resounding loss should have been no surprise.
