What are you on about. Your reasoning get more and more strange by the post.

Mike didn´t mean that a PM is directly appointed by the people. What is important here is the follow democracy core stones, and that is to allow the party who the majority voted for to chose a PM and form a government. They failed that from day one.

Over to address other rather ridiculous comment from you.

No experience, so what???? Yeah, that probably means she will be easily programmed by her father and the rest of the 1% ers how wish to remain in control of company Thailand. Of course a PM need to have some qualifications. Like experience in different kind of fields of life and work for example. Here we only have someone who has grown up and been fed information to believe in from the mighty father figure.

For your information, people can only get real experience if they are left to think and find things out as well as make judgement on their own out of that. Do you really think that what´s going on here?

Thank you, a voice of reason and knowledge in the wilderness of delusion and utter ignorance.

This young Thai lady PM got no experience.  True.

Look elsewhere.  Is this the only case ?   Of course NOT.

In countering to your thinking " a PM needs to have some qualification",

the most worldwide well-known No experience President coming  to the office happened not even that long ago

Barack Obama had zero governing or government experience too in USA Election 2008 and started USA President job in 2009.

Deny or Argue whatever you want.   There is facts/reality/history and I stick to it.

Ok, and I stick to that I never posted that a PM needs to have governing or government experience. Soo, I guess your case just flew away on made up wings, right?

Obama was elected to the Illinois senate in 1996. To the US senate in 04. Twelve years isn't a lot but it is a Heck of a lot more than ZERO.

Do you not think that I would have said that if that actually was what I wanted to say. Please try not to put your thoughts and words into what I said. They don't fit, and I did NOT say that at all.

I said what I meant to say, which is not necessarily what you think I should have said. It is my opinion and not yours.

Pretty messed up reply, dude. In fact it is ‘garbled, confusing and quite frankly duller than an in-flight magazine produced by Air Belgium’ 😋

Don’t blame them for getting out there since she is erroneous and they’d be eviscerated if they tried it on here.

How do you think people gain experience in a job they have never done before?

Having a Dad in charge of the company certainly helps.

Erm, she's running a country mate, not working in a Svensens 555.

She should definitely have experience in politics, in cabinet or shadow cabinet, before becoming the leader of a political party, and leader of a country!

In this case, it doesn't matter, she's from the right clan and doing exactly what Daddy tells her.

The mind boggles.

How strange. The PM is working FOR Thailand, and the Thai protestors are living there and contributing little to the their country of origin. Yet they are the ones who are living a far better life than the Thai people yet are whining when the PM is try to make life better for all Thais.

I'm anticipating the online outrage when hundreds of American expats on zimmers and lil' rascals rally in downtown Bangkok, bringing the city to a standstill, to protest a visit by saint Donald.

Donald is not going to visit, uh how did he say it ....  "Thigh-land"  .  Sounds like a pretty cool joke except he was trying to sound out the word from a teleprompter.  He has the functional education level of a 7th grader and BTW couldn't find Thailand on a map.

More to the point the Thais in Los Angeles, that chose to protest the Thai PM's visit, are US citizens. They have a layer of protection that Thais in Thailand do not.

Now back to FOX fantasy land.

The young Thai PM had already left Los Angeles and arrived Lima, Peru for APEC 2024 Summit.

She had already met Xi and China officials on the sideline ( like in a hotel hall ) in Lima, Peru.

Xi was relaxed and easy talking to counterpart.

Young Thai PM appeared shaken facing Xi,  her facial showed her a bit nervous deep down.

Were the protesters all US citizens?

Article did not specify.

And just how many protesters were there?

I can't find any photos or videos of the protest, so must not have been more than a couple disgruntled cat ladies.

No, wait!  Wife managed to track down a youtube video for me.  That's a protest?  About a dozen retired-looking folks with A4 paper signs mumbling something about getting off their lawn.  Out of 400K Thais in the US?  Vegan nothingburger.
