A generous act of kindness took place in Pattaya as an Australian expat donated a 2024 Toyota Commuter 15-passenger van to Baan Jing Jai, a local children’s home.

The vehicle, valued at 1.3 million baht, was gifted in memory of the Australian, Daryl Evans’ late wife, Tuanjai Naksale, and is intended to support the welfare of children in need. This meaningful contribution was made in collaboration with the Pattaya Sports Club, reflecting a shared commitment to uplifting the community.

The van will serve as a crucial resource for Baan Jing Jai, facilitating transportation for children’s educational and recreational activities while also meeting the daily logistical needs of the home.

Daryl expressed his dedication to the cause.

“This donation is our way of ensuring these children have safe and reliable transportation.”

The Pattaya Sports Club, a well-known charitable organisation in Thailand, was instrumental in coordinating this donation. Established in 1979, the club engages expatriates through sports and social activities, using these platforms to raise funds for local schools, hospitals, and other essential services in the Pattaya area.

Their involvement in this initiative underscores their ongoing mission to support the community and nurture the next generation.

Daryl’s donation highlights the impactful role expatriates can play in the region, illustrating that philanthropy transcends cultural and national boundaries. He hopes that this gesture will inspire others to contribute to those in need, fostering compassion and unity within the community.

The Pattaya Sports Club continues to make significant contributions through various charitable events, aiming to create a positive impact in Pattaya and its surrounding areas. Through their efforts, they demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting vital community organizations and promoting a spirit of giving, reported Pattaya News.

A decent act by the guy. Well done.....

I hope they can avoid using some Yabba addicted wild kid to do the driving!

I must admit I am only so kind with non-Europeans. Even Thai people that overall I general like need to behave a bit better before I could be so generous. Why you guys continue to be so generous I have no idea. Maybe it's just boomers following the cucked out version of Christianity they were sold. When did Asians or Africans move to Europe and do something for the people? Trust me they never did.

Much needed positive news about a falang for a change.......it was his van I hope.

Daryl purchased and gifted the van to the Foundation as a pure act of kindness in the memory of his deceased wife.  A decent man just doing something nice for others.

good story for a change .....   the boss will be so pleased to use it for his own family transport.

No, of course it wasn't his van  you idiot !! He just took it from a car yard for a test run and gave it away before the cops  caught him. I bet you have not donated one hour of your time or one cent to a charity in your life you loser !!

Bloody Aussies, always doing good things. 👍🙏🍺👌🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Gawd, nice car, not your average Toyota.

Wow, so many cynical people.  Enjoy your sad lives....

I applaud the man for his donation to the charity on his wife’s behalf. If you can’t afford to donate then don’t. If you can afford it and don’t have a heart then you have no reason to comment. No reason to bash good hearted people who care about others, not just themselves.

A generous gift. Who pays for the fuel and maintenance?
