I took a similar flight from Calcutta to BKK this year. What can't be portrayed in a video is the overwhelming stench of cheap cologne. I had one hand on the barf bag throughout the entire flight 🥺

Why were you wearing it if it was so bad?

I recently flew with Air India from Swampy to Delhi and it was the worst flight that I have even been on .    80 % of the passengers were groups of Indian "Uncles" , different groups of 10-20 men

What do you expect from people who until that moment only used busses and trains in India?

Usual procedure is to identify the unruly passengers and have the police meet the plane to offload and deal with the offenders by arrest and deportation.   Don't the Thai and Indian airlines

This graph has nothing to do with what we are talking about. You are pointing out a graph of those with indian backgrounds in the USA and how well they are doing. Most of these Indians are born in the USA, educated in the USA, and have grown up there for multiple generations now.

The Indian visitors that go to Europe and USA are hardworking, middle / upper class indians. Many have been there for a few generations now - hindus and Sikhs.

The vast majority of Indians you see in Thailand are the bottom of the barrel, Budget travellers, sex tourists, horrific hygene, public urinatung, littering everywhere and the most horrific set of tourists you can find.

So you pointing out a graph of how well Indians are doing in America is pointless. They are Americans (with an indian background).

For the middle class Indian and Chinese, there dreams are to travel to Europe or the USA. None of them have aspirations to travel to Thailand. So you end up with budget travellers who will go whichever country will let them in, often on package deals, with everything paid for.

The problem with indian society is most boys born are reverred. So they grow up spoilt. It's similar in China too. Entitlement is in their DNA due to the upbringing, hence a big lack of empathy.

Society in India is aware of this, and by the time parents learn their sons are spoilt brats they are adults and nothing can now be done to rectify.

Because of this entitlement many women are often victimes of abuse of all sorts in India, and as a result the vast majority of women take up conservative lifestyles, stay at home, which means men rarely get to interact with women, never mind dating.

So when these indian men come to Pattaya it feels like Disneyland for them.

The issue is budget for them. As they are low rent tourists. So the technique the employ is to find a Thai lady who will accept them (not always easy as Thais are very racist towards Indians), and then bargain to take the whole group of them (often 5 plus men). The vulnerable Thai lady will often take up the option as she has to pay the bills, and the men get a bargain.

It's seedy and disgusting behaviour if you ever witness this in Thailand.

They have destroyed many good nightlife areas in Bangkok, as better tourists go elsewhere.

Apparently they are now planning to bring indian ladies to dance here in Pattaya, so let's see how that goes.

Go for it l. We sat on the floor drinking vodka on a Royal Brunei flight from Heathrow to Dubia. Never  once was questioned. It's amazing how judgmental half indians can be to their fellow natives.

Thai AirAsia   is extremely racist towards Indians on their flights coming from India to Bangkok.

This totally sums up their attitude.  So, as long as no-one questions you, it must be alright?  If you're a civilised human you don't need to be questioned to know you're being rude,  ignorant, and disrespectful towards others.  Caveman behaviour.

I needed t get from HK to New Delhi very quickly to close a very big contract with a giant Indian conglomerate. My HK staff told their local travel agent 'any airline, first flight out of HK. Departed HK very quickly on Air India.

Half way suddenly a family sitting same row as me got on the floor and pulled out a small pump up stove and got it working and put a small pot on the stove, water and veg.

Several people reacted in horror and the stewards came quickly ordering them to put the fire out and give the stove to the stewards.

But other nearby passengers told the stewards and the upset passengers to back off 'leave them alone, they have to eat'.

Stewards did confiscate the stove, no announcements made, and on landing nothing more was said.

Another western passenger sitting near me said 'I've seen this before, don't worry about it'.

Several days later I returned to HK, not on Air India.

I don't think pump up stoves are allowed through security so try again. Stupid

Nice pleasant response.

I'm talking about 40 years ago, departing from HK airport, departure process not all that strict / professional.

Plus Indians are masters at inventing ways to get around regulations.

They are just happy they are on their way to getting their oats, that's all they over get up to isn't it except getting beaten up by ladyboys.

As do the Indians, its partly due to the food they eat,

1. Sulfur compounds: Garlic, onions, ginger and chilies release sulfur, which is absorbed and released through sweat.
2. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs): Spices like cumin, coriander and turmeric contain VOCs, contributing to body odor.
3. Aldehydes: Found in spices, herbs and chilies, aldehydes are absorbed and exhaled.

Physiological Responses

1. Digestion: Indian food's complex spices and fibers stimulate digestive enzymes, releasing gases.
2. Sweat glands: Spicy food activates sweat glands, releasing moisture and trapped compounds.
3. Metabolism: Body processes break down spices, releasing aromatic byproducts...........Farts....😂

And here i was thinking it was poor hygiene

There should be an immediate return to visa restictions placed on Indian passengers, back to 14 days.

Quality over quantity is what Thailand needs at this moment.

From above:  "Thais are very racist towards Indians), and then bargain to take the whole group of them (often 5 plus men)." I would phrase that as racist and don't trust Indians.

Business people from many countries won't do business with Indians. Years back an old friend in  Australia (decades earlier a migrant family who moved from Italy to Australia) took over his fathers large successful big business in large quantities of various fabrics. Soon after his father passed away.

The new owner was well aware that his father never did business with Indian suppliers however he always suspected that his father was too fast to say 'you can't trust Indian suppliers'.

So the new owner got several quotations and paid the full cost of buying the fabrics and sending them to Melbourne. On arrival a senior Australian staff member unwrapped the various parcels and discovered:

- None of the fabrics that had arrived were equal to the quality specifications in the order.

- None of the fabrics that had arrived were more than 90% of the length that had been clearly stipulated in the original order.

The Australian guy called India. First call an Indian employee said 'our owner is too busy to take calls from foreigners and hung up.

Australian guy called again many times, eventually speaking to the proclaimed owner of the supply company in India.

Response 'If you give me another order for double the quantity I give you my personal promise everything will be done accurately, but I'll need double the export fees because the Indian gov't has just doubled the export fee costs. Hangs up.

Australian guy realizes he's been had and of course has had to pay the costs of several nternational phone calls.

No more business with Indian fabric suppliers, because 'you can't trust Indian suppliers'.

A bit of severe turbulence would sort them out!
Seriously, if they don’t listen, captain should get on the blower insisting the cattle return to their seats. If ignored, land at nearest airport as an emergency. A budget airline wouldn’t ever do this of course.
