"wifi"  "TRUE data"

Might be good if you actually described what the problem is.

If available, connect with a wired connection to your router, if that's bad, then call True.

If a wired connection is good, then it's WiFi solely, which will either mean you've got an aerial problem (i.e. damaged aerial on the device you're using or the router), or possibly someone else has set up a nearby WiFi on the same channel and changing channels to a less congested one might fix it (usually possible via a setting on your router).

If there's no uncongested channels it may be time to upgrade to a new router with a newer WiFi version as 6 and later tend to handle congestion better.

There are free apps for phones to do WiFi analysis, and you can use one of those to check if there's less congested channels available.

It sounds like you are using 5G or 4G data plan?  Try switching off the power to your router, count to 10 then switch back on.

If that doesn't cure it then check your data allowance, maybe you've gone beyond their fair usage cap and the speed is throttled.

All above fails or you are unable to understand why the spreed is throttled, then yeah, best to call True.

Call the service provider and ask? But don't even do that until you have rebooted everything and confirmed it does not work.

Actually we are in the middle of solar storms and that might interfere with the WiFi.

I am having similar issues using Wizz TV . Every channel buffers even in the small hours .  Every check carried out . 300 Mbps download . Emailed them , asking if their servers were having problems but no reply . Gonna try a new IPTV company that states anti freezing technology

Do they use anti-freeze?

Why not ask True?

Probably because True will not tell the Truth.

I agree with your advice.

I would just add, turn off the router for more than 10 seconds, perhaps 1 minute.

I would also add moving the router, even just by 30cm and rotating it a few degrees can fix the issue.

Also, if the router is near any other device emitting a signal, cut the power to the other device and test again.

I think you are right.  The member probably has to find a different channel, but best to try the basic troubleshooting first.

Wizz tv in Isaan is working very well amongst family and friends in different cities. Also working well in many businesses in Udon Thani. Friends in Australia state it is working well there too. It may be the issue is not with Wizz tv at all but something at your end. Have you considered changing servers? Are you using a Vpn? Are you using ethernet or wifi? Just some items to consider which may help.

Thanks for your input .

I have both wifi & Ethernet , with the problem still happening . However the buffering may not occur every day and never when I watch a Wizz movie . I have been told that a local bar has the same problem with buffering and uses 3BB and Wizz same as me . But speed tests are always good on the fire stick when buffering happens . However last Saturday a friend was in the bar watching footy and no buffering . He noticed that on the TV screen , top right corner it showed True TV . I was at home trying to watch the same footy with constant buffering on Sky or TNT (cannot remember )

My final suspicion is that maybe my 3BB basic mesh router could be the problem . It gets hot and often stops which means that I turn it off for 10 minutes or so and position a fan to keep it cool . But I turn the fan off at night and in the wee small hours , if I watch TV it often buffers on all channels . I am considering an Archer TP-Link cat 6e mesh router .

BTW I have cleared the Wizz TV cache  , not using a VPN . I liked Wizz TV and have 3 subscriptions  ( 1 in the UK and 2 in Thailand ) .

It is sad, some people should not be posting anything as they just want to be sarcastic to a post that is genuine and meant as a possible solution. So keep your fingers off the keyboard and let people with something informative to say make contributions.

What "possible solution" did you put forward, other than blaming the weather?

Nothing wrong with some humorous posts, in amongst some helpful posts.

A better USB WiFi adapter, or onboard WiFi adapter?

To change servers you need to log in again with your username and password . However I have lost them and I contacted Wizz to send me the info but no reply . Their c/s is not easy to access and access to their site is denied with them saying that I am using a VPN and turn it off but I was not using a VPN
