And I never had to carry any anti-personnel weapons with me(except for my tear gas spray against violent dogs) either.

You better know One Thing.

Taxi/delivery  drivers/riders are living with higher risks of encountering  with violent RifRaffs  than retiree expats.

They cannot really choose  the people  they meet during their work.

So I can't blame them even if some of them carry weapons(for self-defense) legally/illegally for emergency.

I can well understand their needs.

They often have family to look after and need to stay alive for them as well.

Have you ever thought about that?

Probably have never and never will.

People of your kind often refuse to image environment other people have to live in(without choice).

In other words, always looking at things through the narrow scope of your own.

Someone else might need what you feel needless(to yourself).

That is why you can insist on empty stance and express contempt with more empathy.
