A domestic dispute in Pattaya escalated into violence on 12 January when a stepson stabbed his stepfather in the head with a knife following an argument over frying eggs.

 

Police Lieutenant Sontaya Khonsap of Pattaya City Police Station, along with rescue personnel from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation, responded to the incident at 10:00. It occurred in a rented room on the second floor of a building in Soi Phaniad Chang 8, Pattaya, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi.

 

The victim, identified as Mr Krissana, ran downstairs seeking help with blood streaming down his body. A broken knife blade was visibly lodged in the left side of his head. Rescue workers provided first aid before transporting him to Bang Lamung Hospital for urgent medical care.

 

Police found the suspect, Mr Sathaporn, 35, the victim's stepson, waiting in the room. He had a bleeding wound on his head. Mr Sathaporn admitted to the attack, explaining that it was a reaction to his stepfather striking him on the head with a soup bowl during an argument.

 

According to Mr Sathaporn, the two frequently clashed due to his resentment of Mr Krissana's dependence on his mother. The dispute escalated after a heated argument about frying eggs turned physical, culminating in Mr Sathaporn grabbing a knife and stabbing his stepfather in a fit of rage.

 

Pattaya City police have taken Mr Sathaporn into custody for further questioning. Charges are expected to follow based on the investigation's findings.

 

Meanwhile, Mr Krissana remains under close medical supervision at the hospital.

Sounds like a battle of the dependents....... she should ban them both from the kitchen and all those weapons in there. 

A knife to the brain could improve his selection of opponents in the next fight, especially if it served as a lightning conductor.

Violence comes easy to those lazy and worthless sods living in such filthy and squalid conditions.

 

Surely charges of attempted murder are appropriate for stabbing someone in the head, regardless of the provocation?

It´s bad when to men are making eggs. They should have left that to the woman of the house. Now they have to invest in a new kitchen knife.

Still attempted murder stabbing someone in the head with a knife. 🤷‍♂️

when pop gets out of hospital,   will they shake hands and make up or will there always be anger toward each other,   and it could happen again next Tuesday.    ?

Thats why I stick to boiling eggs.
