The large F150 is not suitable for Thai roads especially the alleys that are too narrow

for American truck.  Sharp junctions also make the Soi travel stressful.
I remembered my Japanese friend in Nagoya who imported the Benz S500 from America. Not only is it a LHD but is a headache everytime he travel along one of those small alleys in Nagoya.

The discussion of the F150 is interesting but is deflecting this topic. I have left the posts up for now, but can we please get back on topic, or I will clean up all the off topic posts. There is a motoring forum for such discussions.

Canadians used to be among the better behaved people when abroad. A few recent incidents in Thailand indicate that may no longer be the case.

You can't judge a whole culture by the behavior of a few. Same where you're from no doubt. People are the same everywhere.

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon you!"

It's "upon thee" at the end! 😶

looks like a Ford 150 import of some sort - however it appears to be RHD.

This means a grey import?

Canadian AKA American lite. Americans are carnally in love with SUVs along with their guns. No offense to Americans here, we're the good guys who escaped.

Let's see... the fellow is a Canadian, driving a pickup, and somehow you manage to bring America and SUV's and guns into the mix?

Large truck =  Penis Envy, example Thai males with Tuna's etc

Thai guys have tunas? A f150 truck is quite small in canada.

For penis envy of course.

I think you are the one who should think before they post, disgraceful!

the duty on importing a vehicle like that amounts to about 300% of the retail value. It will be interesting if we ever hear the rest of the story.

Two Canadian nationals have been arrested in Phuket for allegedly selling drugs at the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Thailand 2025, one of the country’s largest music festivals.

The suspects, identified as Samuel Lee Jackson and Jared Liam Wong, both aged 34, were apprehended after failing to stop at a police checkpoint in Patong. A subsequent search revealed a significant quantity of illegal substances, including:

• 100 grams of ice (methamphetamine) mixed with cocaine

• 6 Lorazepam pills, commonly associated with drug-facilitated crimes

• 4 methamphetamine-soaked paper strips

• 14 grams of magic mushrooms

• 88 cocaine capsules

• 50 Alprazolam pills

The arrests follow increased police scrutiny at the festival, which has drawn tens of thousands of attendees to Phuket. The suspects are now in custody and face multiple charges related to drug possession and distribution.

The Electric Daisy Carnival Thailand, renowned for its international appeal, has been overshadowed by recent incidents involving drug-related offences and fatalities, prompting authorities to tighten security measures.
