It got banned because it made the issue about members rather than about the subject. It's still used by lots of Trump supporters here when they have no evidence and no reasoning to support their case. Making it personal is the last resort of the clueless.

Like MAGA is now eh?

Yep, starting on day 1, not everything will be completed on day 1, you are not that dumb to think Trump can just adjust everything instantly. Why do you take everything he says literally , but dont hold anyone else to the same standard?

Why,  you didn't care until Jan 20th.  Everything was great under JB & cackling Harris.

That is a great way of admitting he failed.

On "Forbes Newsroom," Emerson College Polling Senior Director Matt Taglia discussed a new poll showing President Donald Trump’s approval rating at the beginning of his second term sitting at 49%.

So, that means his disapproval rating would be 51%. I'm in that section.

Only historic for Trump, as he has far more that dislike him than most. And give it some time. Alot of his policies are inane and foolish and four years is a long time.

Two points. First, unlike many of his predecessors, Trump appears to be trying to implement the policies for which he was elected. Second, also unlike many predecessors. he has the attention of leaders world-wide.

Trump tries to do what the people voted for.

The left does everything they can to stop Trump (or anyone) from doing what the people voted for.

If the left is successful in stopping Trump from doing what the people voted for, they howl and blame Trump for not doing what the people voted for.

rinse, repeat.

You are so right.......the Republicans were instep with Biden from day one.....and this how the Dems repay that bipartisan approach to doing what the people voted for......disgusting game of politics.

Trump White House rescinds memo freezing federal money after widespread confusion

But Democrats said the White House had overreached beyond what Americans want.

“Most people voted for cheaper eggs,” said Sen. Martin Heinrich of New Mexico. “They did not vote for this chaos.”

All he rescinded was the memo, the policy moves ahead.

That Democrat Senators are attacking him is a great sign.

So nothing has changed?

Why was the memo rescinded if everything is still going ahead??

Care to give us your definition of what the far left is then?

How about we just check the deviation offered by Britannica? “left, in politics, the portion of the political spectrumassociated in general with egalitarianism and popular or state control of the major institutions of political and economic life. The term dates from the 1790s, when in the French revolutionary parliament the socialist representatives sat to the presiding officer’s left. Leftists tend to be hostile to the interests of traditional elites, including the wealthy and members of the aristocracy, and to favour the interests of the working class (see proletariat). They tend to regard social welfare as the most important goal of government. Socialism is the standard leftist ideology in most countries of the world; communism is a more radical leftist ideology.”

He'll have a brief honeymoon period with his approval rating, then it's likely all downhill with the ratings.  #47 will be fighting tooth and nail with #45, also Trump, to see which one is ranked dead last as the worst President in history and which one will be ranked second to last as the worst President in history.  Let the competition begin!

If you're a Democrat it might have been better to have Trump in 2020 than 2024. The old Trump presidency would have continued with its half-hearted ways being led around by Ivanka and Jared. But, now, instead of a weak Flavius Honorius, they've got Lucius Cornelius Sulla.
