Immediately thought that I would run home and tell ASEANNOW about it. I will go back now and drink the coffee

Very little detail and I did read it.

You want a good coffee make it at home.  Amazon coffee ok but they  never fill the cup. I had my wife ask them to fill the cup, reply was that not how we do it.🤣🤣

Your thread, you answer.

Glad that you shared it on the internet, what would have happened if we didn't know on time, i wonder.

Must be StarF**ks...

Don't get me wrong but it is indeed a nice problem to have. Happens all the time; welcome to Thailand - the Land of the Semi-Divine Know-it-alls!

Should be happy,  I presume that you got the Extra  Milk for Free .

If you choose a macchiato instead of an espresso, you'll be getting a coffee drink with a small amount of steamed milk on top of your espresso shot, essentially "marking" the espresso with a bit of milk, while still allowing the strong espresso flavor to dominate; whereas a plain espresso is just a concentrated shot of coffee with no added milk.

How do you say espresso in Thai genius?

IF you are going to thrown the word 'genius' around willy nilly, ensure your own gramatical and linguistic ducks are in a row....

Thus:

"Khǎw kàa-fɛɛ rɔ́ɔn, e-spre-ssoo, sɔ̌ɔng shot, mâi ao nómm há."

Khǎw = I'd like / May I have

Kàa-fɛɛ rɔ́ɔn = Hot coffee

E-spre-ssooo = Espresso (similar pronunciation)

Sɔ̌ɔng shot = Double shot

Mâi ao nómm  = No milk

há = Politeness particle ("há" likely covers your gender issues !))

But, its ok if you prefer SangSom on the steps of a 7-11 for your morning hit...

And then? How the conflict ended?

He cried, and then went on another thread and started attacking another poster which didn't work out so well....   so he had a mentally unhinged dummy spot and started this thread under the false assumption that all of his past idiotic comments are forgotten and he'll rally support....

... tragically mentally unstable...    a bit like Malcy having a fanny-melt down then starting a pole to try and prove the point he was unable to make in a different thread...

While at it, try Kopi Luwak too.

I dunno, coffee shops are everywhere now and they're getting really good at it. We had a coffee fair recently--all Thai shops/promoters--and was astounded at the variety and gear.

Yes well obviously I don't mean all of them and things are improving - I don't get creamer with my cappuccino as often as I used to.  The most common thing I have problems with is when I want a straightforward coffee, in the way that it is commonly consumed in the UK which is just coffee with a little milk added.

For that, I have learned that the best way is to order an Americano and then ask for a small amount of milk. I don't think that is down to any lack of education - its just down to the way we often drink coffee which I hadn't realised, may be peculiar to the UK.

I have to say though, that I cannot remember ever having a problem getting any type of coffee in a branch of Starbucks which is probably down to staff training and the fact that they deal with foreigners more often.

He stated in another thread that if someone were to post that they received a Macchiato instead of an Espresso then all they would do was to receive abuse in the replies .

I put it to the test and posted this thread and he's posing abuse just to prove himself to be right .

*See, I told you that all you would do would to be to receive some abuse , see, I was right about that after all *

He's being abusive just to prove the replies would be abusive

I see. It seems to me he's not the only one with such attitudes. However, he got a lot replies and probably feels better now.

What impressed me that you can make a fuss about a cup of coffee.

Yep... there you go..   this is how childish you are - started a new thread just to 'try' prove a point in the other thread.

In the 'other thread' Nick... you were bullying another poster for a nonsensical reason - you got called out for behaving like a n0b-head....

Now you have copied my post from that thread, which ridiculed you, and altered it to suggest someone stole your coffee in an immature and pathetic attempt to trying to make some very weird point....   But, to confirm my comment - yes, there has been some forum-pile-on....this time targeted at you for the stupidity of your comments....

This is is an daft thread, fortunately the discussion has taken on the aspect of the topic that involves coffee itself... and nothing to do with your daft imagined stories...

Your idiocy was ignored... and people moved on and had a discussion about coffee....

He wasn't making a fuss about a coup of coffee....  he was making a fuss because he got called out for bullying someone in another thread.... and started this thread as some strange dummy spit...

But... at least most ignored him and carried on with the discussion about coffee.

Could you spell that word correctly ?

Lets see how brave and confident you are. Once again misspelling words to get around the no  swearing rule .

You can guess what will happen if you keep pushing your luck .

Remember... 'no one likes a grass'.....

Yup... but in your neurodivergent literalness you failed to understand the concept of 'pile on negativity'....    and that was the point being mate...

... That when 'posters started a thread' there would be a number of 'other posters' piling on with negative comments because they can....   grumpy miserable posters such as yourself.....

But its just been you whose been unpleasant and abusive and spoiling for a fight and also deliberately misspelling swear words to show how hard and tough you are .

Only tough kids in school swear , but avoiding getting caught swearing shows that you are both hard and clever .

Saying swear words slightly differently so you don't get in trouble .

Well clever

Yes...  but anyone even a remotely close the IQ to the 'bottom of the bell-curve is not going to fall into your dimwitted trap and actually write out a full on swear-word....   So... as far as I'm concerned you can <Deleted> <Delete> <Delete> <Deleted> <Delete> up your <Delete>....

But really, I still think you need to get over it and accept that words such a thingy-head, fuffus-face, bottom-nose have adults worlds... but go ahead, tell the teacher...

AND...   You'll have long forgot by now because stupid people tend to do that - But, the whole reason I joined the fray and took a stance against your comments was because of your bullying of another poster... Now you are crying...  think about that little bit ye silly child....

Do you thorw em straigh onto a dish in the microwave like our halfwit.....

... Or do you clean them de-acidise them, then roast them to flavour, before grinding to appropriate level and then either filter, press or pour over... ????

I have a suspicion - that Nick Sharter might have consumed a dash of gorilla poop in his time, weird folk like that tend to go Bear Grills from time to time and reach for their inner warrior before trying to exact their inner anger on threads like this - as cathartic as it might be for us, for him it seems it still tastes like shh.....       poop !...

My opinion was that the O.P was in the wrong to shout at and abuse the shop assistant and the Brit guy was correct in putting him on his place .

You seem to side with the abusive aggressive O.P, which is quite apparent from your posts to me .

Both rather similar , being abusive to woman or being internet warriors, both in the same category
