Putin has invaded Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine since he became President. Would have taken Kosovo when he was secretary of Russia Security Council. If you don;t see his imperialistic ambition, you have drank too  much of Russian kool-aid.

Exactly.  Putin won’t stop until he gets stopped.

Nice try, but it's Bullxxxx - versus facts: this is why I  categorize you as (a)  a Russia appologist or (b) a Russian troll).    the first thing to remember is the history of the relationship between Russia and Ukraine. all the way back to Stalin and later, Russia/USSR requisitioned agricultural products from Ukraine's rural population, leading to economic collapse.

Russia implemented oppressive Russification policies, after it occupied Ukraine during World War II, in a treaty with Hitler. That is why there are large Russian speaking areas in Ukraine

When the USSR was created, to include many of the Baltic states, it established control of Ukraine.

Once the Soviet Union broke up in 1991,  Ukraine regain its independence - as an internationally recognized country. the Russian speaking territories tried to form break-away republics (a black op instigated by Russia) . yes, they were savagely attacked by the military forces of the country they are part of. which part do you refuse to recognize as fact?

which is why i call you a Russia apologist 🙂 why would anybody in their right mind believe Putin's 'version' of history  ? he showed his 'style' by placing his army at the borders, saying 'I will not invade' and then he did so.

It was both, the attacks killing of the ethnic Russains and the sabre rattling of the US aying that Ukraine could join nato. Putin has said since taking office this was a red line, US & nato ignored him

now there you go again. Ethnic Russians tried to form their own independent republics (financed by Putin). quite rightly, the country they belong to put they down. rightly so.
