Donald Trump will support Israel in its efforts to "finish the job on Iran," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday during a visit from U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Speaking at a joint appearance, Netanyahu emphasized that both Israel and the United States share the belief that Iran must not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons and that its regional influence must be curtailed.

"Iran fuels terror and instability across the region," says Rubio in Israel, as he reaffirms U.S.-Israel cooperation on Gaza, Iran, and hostage negotiations.

Rubio echoed these sentiments, describing Iran as the "greatest single force of instability in the region" and blaming Tehran for supporting militant groups that threaten peace. "Behind every terrorist group, behind every act of violence, behind every destabilizing activity, behind everything that threatens peace and stability for the millions of people that call this region home is Iran," Rubio said. Iran, which maintains that its uranium enrichment is for peaceful purposes, has long backed groups in the Middle East that position themselves as part of the "axis of resistance" against Israel and U.S. interests.

This axis includes Hamas, the Palestinian group that launched the attack on Israel in October 2023, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and various Shi’ite militias in Iraq and Syria. Since the war in Gaza began 16 months ago, Israel has carried out targeted assassinations of key leaders within Hamas and Hezbollah, leading to limited retaliatory strikes between Israel and Iran.

Full Speech: Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu alongside US Secretary of State Marco Rubio: “President Trump and I are fully coordinated with a shared strategy. Not everything can be revealed—including when the gates of hell will open.”

Netanyahu declared that Israel had inflicted a "mighty blow" on Iran and expressed confidence in Israel’s continued efforts with the backing of former U.S. President Donald Trump. "With the support of US President Donald Trump, I have no doubt we can and will finish the job," Netanyahu stated. He also warned that “the gates of hell” would open if Hamas did not release all hostages still held in Gaza. Rubio reinforced the urgency of this issue, stressing that "that must happen. It’s not optional." He also voiced support for Israel’s vision for Gaza’s future, stating that it should not follow "the same old tired ideas of the past."

On the subject of Hamas, Rubio fully backed Netanyahu, asserting that the group "must be eradicated, it must be eliminated," and cannot continue to function as either a governing or military force. His visit coincided with the arrival of a large shipment of U.S. military aid to Israel. On Saturday night, a vessel carrying 1,800 heavy MK-84 2,000-pound bombs docked at the Port of Ashdod, following an order by President Trump. Since the start of the war, over 76,000 tons of military equipment have been delivered to Israel via hundreds of airlifts and sea shipments.

Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz described the latest munitions shipment as a significant boost for the Israeli military and proof of the strong alliance between Israel and the United States. "The munitions shipment that arrived in Israel tonight, released by the Trump administration, represents a significant asset for the Air Force and the IDF and serves as further evidence of the strong alliance between Israel and the United States," Katz said. Many view the shipment as a direct warning to Iran.

Rubio and Netanyahu also discussed the ongoing negotiations regarding the remaining 14 hostages in Gaza as part of the first phase of a potential ceasefire. According to Hamas and Israeli sources, only six of the 14 hostages are still alive.

The thing is....

Trump definitely has the potential to be a Bull in a China Shop.

Trump is not a diplomat.

Trump was never schooled in the art of diplomacy.

This entire world might go up in ball of flames...if....

IF he is not more careful.

Let's wait and see.

That was a message from “peacemaker” Donald J Trump. He doesn’t want Americans involved in overseas wars, so he abandons Ukraine to his master Putin. Now he’s talking about taking Canada, Greenland and attacking Iran.

Hypocrisy thy name is Trump.

Let's hope so.

Pandering does not work. It's time to get serious with Iran.

You should perhaps not use the term ‘every’.

The head of the snake, without Irans nuclear ambitions eliminated there will never be a sustainable peace in the middle east.

The IDF has released footage of their 1,800 pound bombs.

This is a clear head nod to the Iranian Regime.

There was a nuclear weapons treaty with Iran (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) what happened to that?

As for regional influence, at least Iran, unlike the U.S. is actually a nation within the region.

Sounds like you would prefer no action. Figures
