In my lifetime I cannot recall ever being so poorly served by our supposed leaders. It's just a litany of one bad politician after another, with even worse waiting  to grab power. Just a succession of populist, politically polarised, self-serving, clueless, uncaring oafs. 

 

It's so depressing.

He was certainly better than many people gave him credit for. He walked the line between China and the US far better than his successors. He handled Covid well. He didn't impose a remittance tax on my money from abroad. He largely kept Immigration unchanged (very important to me). And if I had him among the choices for leaders on this list, he beats 80 percent of them.

OK, I can see that trump won the most votes here, but after the events of the last week, that is objective incorrectly. Perhaps he's bucking to be leader of the autocratic world though.

 

So with Trump eliminated, who else?

 

Well, I had voted Zelinsky but perhaps a better answer as suggested here is Macron.

Maybe this new guy in Germany will turn out to be the leader of the free world instead of Macron or Zelinsky.

Thankfully, the Trump-Vance-Musk backed neo-Nazi party in Germany didn't win.

Silly poll. There is no "free world", so no leaders of one, IMO. Had the poll asked who is the leader of the western world, I might have thought about it a bit.
