Awwww, are you upset he didn't dress nice for Trump? At least his clothes fit him unlike Trump's ridiculous suits.

So you support wars and money wasted. Nuff said

The black attire makes the little girly man look tougher. Trump should have punched him and kicked him out.

Utterly disgusting Putin lap-boy troll posting again. Zelensky's photo in a suit was taken in 2019 before the Russians invaded and continue to attack the whole of Ukraine. Like Churchill he is support

In spite of his constant efforts to appear as revolutionary-chic in his fatigues, the man actually can dress when he wants to.  As a former performer, he understands the optics of dress. So his choice of attire to meet a man he is begging money from was...curious, to say the least.

But I guess to Zelensky, meeting Klaus Schwab was more important than meeting President Trump.

Nice try. First, Churchill was a military veteran, Zelensky is not. Second, this unknown photo was NOT taken at a formal meeting between heads of state. For those, Churchill dressed appropriately. Third, this was NOT Churchill's dailly attire. Zelensky seems enamored with appearing like a tough guy.

Ww2. Ukraine is not a world war. Churchill wore a suit many times. Pathetic little man wears black. Hugged Keir recently.

Polite suggestion. When you have been exposed as a fool a long period of silence is recommended to reflect on one's errors.

As I recall, the initial weeks of the Russian invasion were marked by the deployment of Russian special forces teams to attempt to hunt down and assassinate Zelinsky. For that reason he took to dressing in "military sweatshirts" , much more inconspicuous and easier to move him about, and practical in a city (Kiev) under rocket bombardment.

That threat diminished because the Ukraine armed forces proved to be very effective at hunting down, capturing and killing these teams.

Subsequently he continued it as a "trademark look". Same sort of idea as wearing a red baseball cap at every opportunity!

You seriously comparing Zelensky to.... Churchill?  Must be in the same yoga class as BKKevin.

Churchill, as I recall, wore suits to his meetings with Stalin and Roosevelt.  Also, as I recall, Churchill was an actual military veteran.

Incorrect  Churchill wore a wartime siren suit.

For someone who Is in denial of Zelensky's war experience, universally praised for his courage and patriotism, can't be taken seriously.

I know whose side Churchill would be on - and for that matter all the stellar American presidents  - Eisenhower, Truman, JFK etc.

Churchill sat in baths a lot of the time

That's a wee bit date:  January 22-23, 2020 WEF meeting in Davos.

Really, how do you take a guy who plays the piano with his d**k seriously?

There is a not very storied history of political leaders playing dress-up as if they were in the military.  It tends not to coincide with democracy or freedom.

Churchill's siren suit was civilian attire, not military.

Zelensky wasn't dressed in military gear either.

Churchill was a vet, Zelensky isn't, but that's irrelevant here.

As for appearing tough, Zelensky's attire symbolizes solidarity with his soldiers during war, not a desire to appear tough. It's about leadership in crisis, not posturing.

So he is fighting for himself.

Why? Because the media narrative as usual got the situation wrong. And I am tiring of his arrogance and sense of entitlement.  It would have taken so little for Zelensky, as the supplicant, to win the day for his country. But his pride got in the way. And his cosplay act is getting tiring.

As for the tired old 'bone spurs' dig, we can rehash all the previous politicians who dodged service in Vietnam if you wish. But to what purpose? The only actual military veteran in the conversation was JD Vance.
