webfact Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Pictures courtesy of Siam Rath On March 9, at Chulalongkorn Hospital, the body of the late police officer known as "Joe Ferrari" arrived with his mother, girlfriend, and other relatives. Here, they have requested a second autopsy to shed more light on his death, which they suspect might not have been accidental. The girlfriend, Ms. Sai, expressed deep mistrust toward the prison's handling of events, accusing them of distorting the truth about "Joe Ferrari's" solitary confinement and alleged mistreatment. She pointed out discrepancies between the family’s accounts and the prison's statements, especially concerning the claim that he chose solitary confinement. Despite official narratives that he had not been harmed and the prison’s assertion that they attempted to help him get to the hospital, Ms. Sai and his family, having reviewed CCTV footage, remain sceptical about these claims. They assert that he wasn’t given adequate care and insist that the truth has been distorted. The family has reportedly faced pressure to withdraw complaints about alleged assaults by prison staff. Offers were made in exchange for moving "Joe Ferrari" out of solitary confinement, which they declined, leading to further distrust of the institution. Ms. Sai questioned the veracity of claims presented by the prison, suspecting manipulation to cover up the real circumstances surrounding his death. Despite reports suggesting he died by suicide, the family is pursuing further investigation due to perceived inconsistencies. In a poignant note, Ms. Sai reflected on her efforts alongside the family to support "Joe Ferrari," maintaining hope that their actions might bring justice or at least clarity to the situation. The second autopsy’s results, expected soon, could offer new insights, as the family prepares to honour him with religious rites, reported Siam Rath. -- 2025-03-10 1
Popular Post dddave Posted March 10 Popular Post Posted March 10 Great example of "What goes around, comes around." Corrupt, amoral cop done in by other corrupt, amoral cops. Family wants sympathy. Hopefully they'll get as much sympathy as "Joe" gave to his victims. Karma at it's best. 3 3 7

Popular Post spidermike007 Posted March 10 Popular Post Posted March 10 A suicide in prison should always be questioned, the likelihood of foul play is very high. Especially when it's a high-ranking cop who has the potential to spill the beans. Does Jeffrey Epstein come to mind, and is there even a 1% chance that was a suicide? 5

Who wants jail for life?

How many people died because of his greedy actions? The family can’t see that it’s called Karma! good riddance ! Plenty more to take over though, rotten to the core, even the poster boy lost his job…. 2
Popular Post Briggsy Posted March 10 Popular Post Posted March 10 Is this all part of the theatre for the public? Did he commit suicide? Was he murdered? Were any authorities at any level complicit in wrongdoing to these events? Is he still alive? Any combination of yes/no answers is possible. I believe a deal was struck to let him out and this is the cover story. Powerful people do not spend years in prison in Thailand UNLESS somebody even more powerful feels wronged and wants them to. 1 1 1
ChipButty Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Probably a few guys in that jail who he has given a hard time to, common knowledge in Thailand a plastic bag over the head, I have even heard of that method being used here in Phuket,

BangkokReady Posted March 10 Posted March 10 The guy was let down by a system that was meant to protect him, even though he broke the law. Ironic. 2

Purdey Posted March 10 Posted March 10 No one here seems upset. The girlfriend better not cry too much or they will have to investigate where the family wealth came from.
ChipButty Posted March 10 Posted March 10 They should be investigating how he reach the rank at such a young age,
