Or another that is *actually effective* at reducing stains?

Have you tried ordering from Amazon?  It might be the kind of thing you can make yourself, though.  Anyway, a while back I was looking for some toothpaste that didn't have fluoride, but I'm not sure I can up with anything that worked that didn't also allow the stains to build up.  The simple answer is to get your teeth cleaned every six months like they want you to.  And while you're there, ask the dentist about staining.  

 

The stuff I tried, Dentiste' didn't seem to really do the job.  

Just mix baking soda with a tiny bit of water to form a paste and brush your teeth with it, once a week. Don't overdo it as it can weaken the enamel, once a week is good in my experience.

I brush my teeth with baking soda & hydrogen peroxide (3%), and haven't needed a cleaning in probably a decade.  Did whiten them up a bit, back to the same color of crowns I had done almost 40 yrs ago.   And I've been drinking coffee daily for the past 10+ years.

 

Went to dentist about 10 years ago, for annual cleaning, after started brushing teeth with BS & HP, and she stated I didn't need.  Haven't needed a cleaning or filling since.

 

Do a quick brushing after with minimal Oral B TP, as wife likes the fresh taste & smell, vs after taste & smell of BS/HP.

 

If you're a mouthwash user, (I'm not) then I guess that would work, instead of Oral B TP, though I'd do a thorough rinse before, not know how the chems would react together.

This stuff has sodium bicarbonate in it, squirt h. peroxide in the tube...

Perodontax toothpaste contains both baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Seen it at Tops and Watsons.

Brush w/ baking soda 

Rinse w/ H2O2 , 3%

Both super  cheap.

Side note: Parodontax sneakily changed the recipe for the original formula (non-fluoride) a year or so ago so that it tastes completely different. Loyal user for 30 years. I called the customer number on the packet and they confirmed the change. For more than a year they did not however change the packaging in any way to highlight the new formulation. They have now just done that as of a month or two back. Very tricky.

 

Basically the new formula strips out all the natural extracts and replaces them with .... 'aroma'!

 

 

 

Top package = new packaging finally showing that the recipe has changed

Middle package = original formulation with herb extracts

Bottom package = vile new formulation with 'aroma'

 

There are still some of the original tubesnout in the market because Parodontax is an acquired taste - just reject anything with 'aroma' in the ingredients!

I like Arm & Hammer baking soda toothpaste.

The only place I have seen here is on Lazada, and the price was outrageous.

Grant's from Australia   has a baking soda formula ..  and no fluoride    Villa Market*

 

or if you're carfeul not to overdo it ( gentil touch ) ..   plain old baking soda and Peroxide  

 if you're diligent... and don't eat sugars ..    say goodbye to cavities and cleanings

The last thing you want in your toothpaste is any kind of fluoride.  Unfortunately, that kind of toothpaste is getting harder to find.

You should avoid tea, shrimp and crab. Also grapes, raisins and potatoes.

 

You don't swallow toothpaste, but you probably enjoyed a pad thai goong recently. Fruitcake. Oh sorry, I forgot they have raisins.

I always have a bottle of baking soda mouthwash in the bathroom, which I make myself with baking soda, water and a little lemon juice. Sluice my teeth a few times a day with this in between brushing. 

I buy this Japanese one from japan but its also on shopee. Bicarb taste and in the ingredients

 Everything.  You should probably just look it up. It's about to be removed from the drinking water in US cities, and the side effects on the human body are not good.  

 

@FruitPudding Maybe you already have an answer, but I know a few years ago you could purchase "PeroxiCare" toothpaste at Villa Market.  It's been more than 3 years since I purchased a tube, but that's where I would look 1st.

Yes, and dentists in America are celebrating. They will be getting 4-5 times more business.

 

Dentists in Hawaii can immediately tell if someone lives on the military base, it stands alone with much lower levels of cavities. An idiot governor stopped fluoridation of drinking water for everyone else in 1966. Hawaii has one of the highest incidences of dental cavities in the USA.

 

Please post links to CREDIBLE evidence 0.5 mg/L fluoride in water is harmful. Don't bother with high level doses, no-one denies they are toxic.
