Neither do I.  But my first thought looking at the photo is that it appears they have been "worked over".  Even if that's not the case, perceptions count when you're in the tourism biz.

Their real crime wasn’t the dangerous driving, which can be seen every day of the week, but the failure to grovel to the arresting officers 

I saw the whole spectacle on TV last night 

Also on TV I saw a hiso Thai in a Benz assault a boy on a motorcycle because he stopped too quickly in front of his car thus hindering his progress 

The boy’s father was rightly incensed and complained to the police who did nothing

It’s a good photo for the anti criminal tourist industry, a personal preference and would like to see more of it. More photos of banged up apprehended criminals should be broadcasted, even if they’re fake, it would help keep the peace given a perspective of criminal activity is dangerous up against the cops. 

The xenophobia on display. Repeatedly saying “Falang”. What difference does it make if they are or not. It’s about foolish behavior by a driver.

To be hog-tied, the hands and feet are bound together so that the prisoner is completely immobile and helpless.  It can be in front of the body, or behind which is especially brutal.

Fine, jail and deport lifetime. These individuals are certified losers and untrainable. A couple of self-centered, arrogrant drug addicts.  This is not an issue of tightening regulations regarding traffic safety and foreign compliance with local laws. This is an issue of getting these individuals off the street and out of the country, these individuals do not represent the average law-abiding foreign tourist.

LOL, according to some on this forum, "farang" is a racial slur, reserved exclusively for Caucasians. Used here to describe sub-Saharan Africans, it conveniently morphs back into a xenophobic slur. Speaking of racist and xenophobic, more than half the comments on this thread fall into one or the other or both categories. Do you have no objection to this?
