I did !! and on this occasion the Brits won !!

If you live within easy reach of an immigration office just go in person. My last 3 visits to CW for 90 day reporting saw me in at 0830 hrs and out at 0930 hrs, and thereafter getting on with my day. Unlike many  on here my time is not so important as to not be able to take an hour every 3 months to do this. Less easy, I appreciate, if you live a long way away. 

I have had it rejected for:

- new passport

- returning from outside country

- wrong date. Correct window is: -15 to -7 days from due date.

I returned to Thailand last Sept' and have a new Retirement Visa since then. But none of this seems relevant as no matter the circumstances, in 20 years I have only managed to do it online once!

I can submit and they e mail me to confirm acceptance of application.

Then a couple of days later comes and e mail..... rejected (with no explanation or reason why)

 

It has not been available for 20 years online. about 9.
